Brass Pineapple Bed & Breakfast Inn

The Brass Pineapple B&B Inn is a wonderful gem in the heart of West Virginia’s Capitol city. Lisa and Greg have taken great care to ensure a warm welcome, delicious meals from local farmers, and a beautiful décor. Located just a few blocks from the Capitol, the scenery is unmatched. Lisa is the main point of contact and excited to make your Charleston stay memorable.
The city itself is a bit difficult to find what to do and where to eat, it is a small town in every sense. I spent most of my stay in the B&B relaxing and taking in the history.

Highly recommended. The house is beautiful and well kept. The whole family stayed here, so I had a chance to see four of the rooms — all were terrific. Location was extremely convenient for us. Everyone was happy.

What a wonderful find! It is a true bed and breakfast in every sense of the word. Early 1900s house impeccably decorated on a quiet street near the capital building in Charleston, WV. Hospitality +++ from Lisa, the owner (even when we weren’t able to arrive until nearly 7:30pm). She showed us where to find cake, iced tea and other hospitality items in the kitchen and dining area. We walked to a cute restaurant she recommended (I believe it was called the Blue Grass Café) and had a wonderful dinner with a bottle of wine, an a huge piece of yummy tiramisu for dessert. Came back and sat on the front porch before retiring for the evening to the «Grandmother’s» room, located on the 3^rd floor. They have wi-​fi available throughout the building, though with our short stay, we didn’t bother turning on our laptop. Wonderfully comfortable king size bed. Chocolates on the nightstand. Breakfast can be any time up until 8:30am (which is early for us, but we know that there have to be parameters set, or an innkeeper would never get things ready for the next guests). It was definitely worth rising early, as Lisa is a gourmet cook and sets a beautiful table. Come to find out she purchases all of her groceries from local vendors. She took plenty of time to chat with us. We are already thinking of who of our family members would enjoy a stay at the Brass Pineapple.
