I loved it, just as a previous reviewer said, everything tastes the way it should. At LJS’s, everything tastes like fish.
I had the fish/​chicken combo with 2 sides, loaded baked potato and mac n cheese. Every bit of it was delicious and full flavor. Didn’t feel like I was eating fast food.

A hardy meal. $ 7.50 is roughly the average per combo and it’s more food than some $ 10 – 11 plates at diners. Also, unlike Long John Silver’s, everything tastes like it’s supposed to. Chicken is chicken, fries are fries… At LJS *everything tastes like fish. Like they use the same deep fryer for all foods. So as far as fastfood seafood goes, Captain D’s wins with taste and quantity.
The whitefish combo is pretty great.
