Great overall experience with window tint at this shop. They were QUICK to respond to emails, even on their closed days. The tint guy was very knowledgable and has a lot of experience. All these good reviews were earned for a reason! Highly recommended shop for tint — can’t speak for car audio but they had a lot of customers in and out and they sounded very knowledgable about that too. Very customer oriented. My only gripe is waiting room. I’d recommend dropping it off unless they get a comfortable couch and a TV in there as they only have folding chairs at the moment. Rommel and his staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They squeezed my truck in on a moment’s notice to install a security system and auto start. They were very reasonably priced and their work seems as if it was factory installed. They took time to explain the systems to us and offered follow up service if we wanted a different sensitivity level set on the security system. We highly recommend the Team at C.A.R.S!!!

I was researching local car audio shops the past few weeks and decided on Car Audio Radio and Security to help with upgrading my 15′ Tundra stereo. I wanted to keep the factory appearance but not the factory sound and Rommel and his team helped me do just that. Rommel emailed me promptly for a few days helping me figure out exactly what I wanted and at no time pressured me to purchase from his shop. CARS carries some very high quality american made gear. Rommel and his team installed a new amp for me and hid it neatly behind my factory head unit. They tuned it perfectly and my stereo has never sounded better. After my install we had a small power issue due to the amp I selected and the CARS team fixed the issue immediately. I couldn’t be more pleased with the customer service and dedication this store has for car audio and their customers. I will definitely use their services again in the future and am enjoying the results of their labor.

It has probably taken me a little over a year to find an audio store that I wanted to install headrest DVD players for our family car. I was working with another company but when I went in to get the work done the price of the service miraculously went up by $ 100 which is not that much but in principle was unacceptable. I found C.A.R.S. while reviewing the Unilocal newsfeed and was surprised because I thought I had found all of the audio stores in the area. I shot off an email and heard back from the owner within minutes answering all of my questions. The price was on par if not a bit cheaper (he offers a 10% military discount) than other locations but what really sold me was his honesty. I asked about a more expensive system and he could have just raved about how great it was but he was honest and stated he had not had the opportunity to install one yet. Even then he had a great deal of knowledge about the system. A few days later he had the custom product in hand and installed it quickly and perfectly. He even stripped some bad tint film (another long story) and put on some higher quality film. Overall my wife is very happy with the car and that means I am as well!

Came here for a repair/​adjustment to my after-​market installed Sirius/​XM radio antenna. GREAT SERVICE! Nice not to have to drive over to West Ashley or North Charleston for this kind of work.
When I came in I noticed them working on a Porsche, so I know they do high-​end work. They were fast, professional, forthright, and got me taken care of quickly. Most importantly, I trusted them to do the work I needed done at a decent price, and they did not disappoint me.
I would definitely recommend these guys for any auto-​related audio and/​or alarm, and window tinting services. A business we truly need in this area.

This place is fantastic. I am always greeted like an old friend rather than just another customer. Rommell and his crew installed Sirius Backseat TV in my car and an awesome stereo system in my truck, and have helped me with all my questions and concerns. Everyone here is very friendly and professional and I would highly recommend them. They are very experienced, knowledgeable, and ALWAYS stand behind their work. I trust them completely with my vehicles and audio equipment.
