Located in the citadel mall just outside the doors of Target. Champs was acquired by Footlocker some years ago and I believe the overall chain has fallen since. This champs is no exception. I went to this store for a new pair of basketball shoes. The same shoes here were ten dollars more than the footlocker on the other end of the mall. Champs supposedly price matches, but on this occasion they were not eager to match their sister store. You would think this being the highest revenue days of the year, they would have their act together. Plenty of staff and attitude at this store, just no one at the registers… don’t think I’ll be back.

This Champs Sports does what it needs to do. It’s not for the serious athlete. More for people who like athletic style apparel.
