One of my favorite things we did on our whole trip to Charleston! The tour was wonderful — you really do cover a lot of ground in downtown Charleston without walking for miles and miles. We discussed Charleston’s history, cultural roots, and present day. The architecture was amazing to look at and the historical anecdotes were great. Last but not least, our docent, Lisa, was FANTASTIC. She was knowledgeable, smart, funny, and just overall awesome. I only wish this tour was longer! Highly recommended!!!

A wonderful walking tour with a focus on the geographic and historical quirks of Charleston, the architecture of its buildings and the culture of its most memorable citizens. Our tour guide was friendly, gracious and almost impossibly knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour for anyone in town for the first time.

This was one of the greatest highlights of my visit. Put on your walking shoes and get out your camera/phone for some amazing memories!

This was a fabulous 2 hour walking(strolling) architectural tour that covered Charleston history, antebellum homes, architecture, gardens, and culture. Nancy, our guide, was knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and shared the locations of the best, tourist friendly restrooms while out and about town. After completing this tour, I wish I had a few more days to spend in Charleston to see, in more depth, some of the homes and mansions we had strolled past, and to visit a few more sections of the city that I had not realized were sooooooooooo close to where we were staying. Maybe next trip :) This truly is a walking friendly city.
