Cake donuts are my favorite and Donut Connection does them right. Like a good biscuit, DC’s are both fluffy and dense. Favorites include the chocolate and blueberry varieties but the homecut is my year round favorite. Better yet, they offer pumpkin donuts in the fall and each March, just in time for St. Patrick’s day, green cake donuts. Truly the highlight of the year.
The coffee is decent donut shoppe coffee and the other varieties are fine, but the cake donuts are why I keep coming back.
Seriously, they’re great.

This place is a great stop if you need a quick donut fix. It’s right off the highway and they have many flavors to choose from including pumpkin and red velvet. The donuts were very moist with just the right amount of crunch on the outside.

Rather disappointing that only the drive through is open at night, and there are slight restrictions on what is offered during overnight. Doughnuts taste good, but make sure you go during the day to get the kind (s) you want.
