The Engineer + fully involved + jalapeños, hold the mayo. By far the freshest sub sandwich I’ve ever had. The meat to bread ratio was perfect. The service was courteous and timely. The place was clean. I’ll keep coming back when it’s sub time.

We were just passing through and sought out our favorite sub brand. They didn’t disappoint

In the list of chain sandwich restaurants, Firehouse finishes last behind Subway, Jimmy John’s, Penn Station and Quizno’s. My wife got the Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket and I got the Italian. Neither one was even toasted and they just were not very good compared to the other chains above. Satisfied my curiosity.

Very nicely sized sandwiches that don’t skimp on the meat, good flavor, good sauces. Huge selection of hot sauces to try and little cups to take it home in if you aren’t eating there. Every time I’ve been the staff has been super friendly and very helpful and the site is always very clean. The chili is delicious but carries a hefty price tag for a tiny bowl, my only real downside.
