Fruit Chill

Excellent place for dessert or a nice afternoon snack. 10 different flavors of frozen yogurt ranging from vanilla to several fruit flavors to chocolate mousse. The toppings were also numerous in options. Fruits, candies, nuts, etc. The interior was way nicer than I expected but maybe not as colorful and lively as other similar joints in other towns. Very happy to have this place as an option! We will be returning.

My husband and I went there after we got back from vacation in Los Angeles where we discovered serve yourself frozen yogurt. We were really excited until we walked in. There were only like 6 flavors and 3 of them tasted the same. The place was pretty empty, there was only one other couple in there and they had no clue what they were doing. The one employee on duty was busy slicing strawberries and was pretty unhelpful in general. She was slicing strawberries that were straight out of the carton, meaning she didn’t bother washing them first. She did wear plastic gloves so when she took our cups of yogurt (you aren’t allowed to put your own toppings on) she didn’t get contaminated by our cooties. However, she kept the gloves on while we paid and she handed us back our cups and then went back to slicing the strawberries with the same gloves on she started out with. So now not only were the unwashed strawberries carrying anything that was on the money she handled but we had strawberries all over our cups. I do not plan on going back as the choice of flavors and toppings were pathetic and I thought it was kind of funny that they charged more here for frozen yogurt than they did in Los Angeles. Save yourself the time and just get a 50 cent ice cream cone across the street at McDonald’s.
