Great fresh meat market. All good quality meats and their fresh sandwiches are delicious.

Best place in Charleston to buy steaks/​beef products. Quite likely the only place you can buy grassfed as well.
My absolute highest endorsement for them is that I have NEVER gotten a bone chip in my hamburger that I buy there.

Head and shoulders above anything you can get at Kroger with good prices to boot. For me, you can’t beat the option of buying as much, or as little, thick-​cut bacon as you need. You can also get affordable whole chickens that aren’t the overfed behemoths you have to buy at Kroger. I haven’t had the opportunity to take advantage of their special packages, but for a big family with freezer space or for throwing a backyard barbeque party, their bulk order packages are a great deal. They will also do special orders around the holidays or if for some reason you have a need for a whole pork belly. Ask if you don’t see something you need, a lot of random stuff (like ground turkey, andouille sausage) is in their freezer/​refrigerators.
