Librairies are as good as it gets. The KCPL has an extensive selection and they always have what I’m looking for whether it’s a physical book or electronic book through the WVDELI. The Bookmyne app provides a tool to place holds and get books through the inter-​library loan system (I think the website — which was updated in 2015 — offers this service, too). In addition to the magazines and music you can check out, digital versions of these are available with your library card. The staff members are always helpful and friendly.

Charleston, WV
Large library, used to be the post office back in the olden day. Has a very sizable fiction section as well as reference books and some film reels. Staff is generally very nice and helpful.
The major downside is the heating/​cooling system: it is hot as a furnace in summer and chilly all winter. Also there is no «quiet» seating area: just one big area on the first floor and a smaller area on the fourth floor. The first floor has computers (music and yacking) and the fourth is a teen book section in the media department (music and yacking)
