Do not stay here. The staff pounded on our door at 6am. NOTHING should warrant that type of bizarre treatment of guests at your establishment. Scariest motel experience I’ve ever had.

Hey, it served us well for what we needed… a cheap overnight rest on a long trip, easy Interstate access, with a short walk to the Texas Steakhouse next door for a meal before bed. The motel is in desperate need of a major overhaul, and the buildings are probably is on their last year or two of life. The toilet wobbled when sat on, and there were mysterious holes in the wall above the beds. The carpet had reached its life expectancy. We didn’t bother taking showers in the morning, its not a place where you want to hang out and spend time. But we didn’t find any bedbugs and the beds were relatively comfortable, the TV worked, so I feel like we got what we paid for.

You do get what you pay for. I was on my way up to Columbus and needed a place to stay. Luckily, I only needed to spend a few hours here. Place is in serious need of updating and cleaning. Heat was too much and place felt like sauna(even after turning it down) and it felt good to go outside, even though it was below freezing when I went out. Do not expect a continental breakfast — all they have is coffee and juice.

Typical Knights Inn. I’ll sleep here, but I’m going to wash EVERYTHING — my duffle bag, my clothes, etc., shower like mad, and cover my computer bag and sketchbook with diatomaceous earth as soon as I get home. It’s clean enough to pass inspection, but that’s it. I’m in the habit of checking hotel beds for bedbugs anymore, and this place makes me check repeatedly. I refuse to walk around the rooms barefoot. The carpets always feel gross. For a cheap hotel, their internet isn’t too bad. Their list of TV channels isn’t horrible, either. I find their mattresses pretty comfy, but they might be too soft or too hard for some people. Tell management specifically that you do not want housekeeping to come in and put your«DND» card on your door at night if you’re the type that likes to sleep in. Went up to the counter once to pay for our room and some guy(out-of-towner) was raising all sorts of hell because housekeeping didn’t bother to look at the sign on the door and entered his room anyway. Keep valuables with you. I wouldn’t trust anyone that works there to stay out of your room, especially if you have a laptop and/or other technology with you. Cheap motel. You definitely get what you pay for.
