I took my Costa sunglasses in today because the screw fell out. They aren’t prescription and I didn’t buy them there. The girl fixed them for free. I have to say the customer service was excellent. She even was smiling and friendly. If I ever need eyeglasses, I’d go back.

LensCrafters is really lacking in customer service. I was told that the problem is cutting back hours of employees, not paying any benefits and new hires have no optical experience. Sadly, I used to really like this store. But going in and waiting for a half hour only to have an optician come over from the eye exam store next door was awkward. No manager around. Everyone was waiting a very long time to be helped. I will go to Costco for glasses next time.

I have been a LensCrafters customer for nearly 15 years. I go to this store because the one at Northwoods doesn’t have the machinery to cut my lenses. The service at this store has consistently gone downhill over the last 3 – 4 years. I have decided that my most recent pair will be my last from them and I will instead try Costco where the same glasses are a third of the price.
