I’m visiting from Chicago and I wanted to check out the local health food shop as a place to find grains, seeds and maybe some organic goods. Understanding that this is a health food shoppe in a small town, I set my sights low.
Boy, was I impressed! There were rows and rows of vitamins and supplements as well as a full pantry-​stocked grocery! All sorts of trusted organic and gluten-​free brands were available for very good prices. They even had a section for pets!
There’s another small refridgerated and frozen area for eggs, cheese, cheese-​replacements and ice cream. Plus they have a whole section for body care, books, and more! It was a real treat and I could have spent the whole day in there.
Furthermore, the owner was friendly and casual. She helped me look around and we talked about what was available in the town as far as CSAs and fitness to continue a healthy lifestyle. What a gem!
