I’ll start by saying I have battled bad skin for most of my life, so I know my dermatologists. I recently switched to Magnolia after being one of the masses for many years at a large practice in Mt. Pleasant. Dr. Myers is extremely knowledgeable and professional and so is the staff. I have never had a problem getting an appointment, never been made to wait a long time in the waiting room, and never felt pressured into over-priced cosmetic treatments that rarely work. I am so glad I made the switch!

I had a generally good experience at Magnolia; the staff was really friendly and accommodating, and also very efficient. I was barely able to get out my magazine before they called me back to see the doctor. The office itself was bright, clean and modern looking. The doctor was also nice and professional. Why not 5 stars? I made the appointment to get a refill on a medication I’ve been using for years. The doctor informed me it wasn’t safe for me to take the medication due to a medical condition so I couldn’t get the prescription. I told the scheduler why I was making the appointment and what I needed, so it would’ve been nice if she had asked me the one very obvious qualifying question over the phone. It seemed silly to pay the co-pay and take time off from work to go to the appointment only to have them tell me, within 30 seconds, I couldn’t have the medication. Still, I’ll go back as it seems like a solid place.
