David was great. Worked with us to get our scheduling for specific dates handled. This was my 2^nd time out with him, and had another great trip. Bothe times I went home with slot size Redfish and nice trout. We caught exactly what we wanted to, and any avid Fisher knows it is impossible to guarantee good fishing days. He k. we great spots to fish at, and constantly checked to see if we wanted to switch spots or fishing style. He also kept us baited and hooked the whole time. Great guy and great trips! Capt. David provided a first class fishing experience. My wife and I wanted to check out the Charleston fishing during a visit. I called Capt. David and liked how friendly and informative he was, he gave me a couple of follow up calls to finalize our fishing plan. He was very thorough at finding out my expectations and detailing his plan to make our day a success.

Captain David provides a first class in shore fishing guide experience. I took my father fishing for Father’s Day and David spent a lot of time with us throughout the experience ensuring we were aware of what we were doing and hopefully the results would follow. The results: dozens of redfish, reels spinning like crazy, and a great time overall. It was a beautiful Lowcountry day and we couldn’t have been more impressed with Captain David, his professionalism, and the inshore fishing experience altogether (and I’m normally an offshore guy). Two thumbs up!

My husband and I spent a very enjoyable June morning fishing with David Lane in tidal creeks flowing into the Wando River. We hopped aboard a short time before sunrise, and it was a delight watching the sun break the horizon with water and salt marsh and forest on all sides. David provided the poles and bait and advice (and bug spray and drinks), and we casted our lines around docks and near oyster beds. My husband and I landed four nice-​sized red drum after energetic fights that included clambering around the boat and a fair amount of line being stripped off the reel. Very fun! We released three of the fish and packed the smallest, a hearty 18-​incher, on ice to bring home. The fishing was great, the scenery was gorgeous, the boat was very well suited for inshore fishing, and David was excellent company. Highly recommended!
