This is a great place to come watch a Clemson Tigers game. The owner is a Tigers fan and always has the game on most of the TVs and plays the Tiger Rag when they score. Beyond that, its pretty average. $ 10 buckets of beer always seem to be around. They have upgraded the menu and its clear they have focused on that. Most of it is just bar food but some items will surprise you. The layout of place is odd in that if youre not sitting at the bar, even though there are a BUNCH of TVs youre always turning your head to watch one of them. They often have a DJ or live music and theres a little room to dance. The cons are that a lot of the customers that are there, especially late night, get really really drunk. Like fall down drunk. Try to pick up your friend and fall down drunk. Try to dance and fall down drunk. Sit at a total strangers table and blabber on for 20 minutes about some garbage I dont care about kinda drunk. Its a great hangout for locals and college football fans, but be prepared for the crazy to come out late in the night!

Perfectly satisfactory. I come in here for games(mostly ping pong) and some VERY affordable drinks: Happy hour should really be called happy HOURS. It’s from like 2 — 8 on the weekdays. Recently went in and our group had 2 beers and 2 cocktails and it was like $ 11 !! Not sure about weekend prices, but I’m sure it’s still very affordable. GREAT place to watch sports of any kind. It has a little bit of everything for ever body: lots of big TVs, video games, ping pong, booze, food, and is conveniently located on Folly Road.

Best. Place. Ever. I’m old so I can’t hang with the late night party crowd too often(that I remember), but happy hour here is the happiest. Awesome regulars, great owners and a staff that makes you want to come back. There is plenty to keep you busy while sipping your cocktail and sports on 24⁄7. Every Packer game every week during football season and all those other games are on as well. The food is great and keeps getting better! Love these guys.

This is my neighborhood watering hole so I might be a little biased but here it goes. Max and Henry’s is like four different places in one. The mood and feel of the place changes depending on what time you decide to patronize it. It has a dedicated group of regulars who are extremely friendly and accommodating. If you decide to come late in the evening, say 11pm the feel is less Cheers and more young and hip. Max and Henry’s offers nightly entertainment that ranges from live bands to karaōke to DJs. The food is surprisingly well put together for a place that is more bar and game room than restaurant. For the most part it is your standard bar fare(wings and burgers) but there is an ever rotating seasonal specials menu. I am never afraid to venture off the standard menu to try such fair as crawfish tacos or home made corned beef at St. Pattys day. All in all max and Henry’s is a fun place with a great bar staff and ownership that really cares about its patrons. One word of warning, the red headed bartender can be a little ornery so make she to tease her mercilessly!

If I had tragically died in 2007 and immediately gone to hell, this would be that hell. Hi, ripped Hollister jeans and Quicksilver tees. The décor belongs in a 12 year old’s bedroom — a very confused 12 year boy who listens to outdated rap, loads up on protein powder and is mean to girls he likes in order to «flirt». Am I mad I did not win an unfortunate plush from the crane machine? No. I’m disgruntled that the drinks are gross and everyone contained in this hell must have had his ego disproportionately inflated upon entry.

–dirtiest pool tables I’ve ever seen. –one co-ed bathroom. –bartenders were not the friendliest. –odd crowd.

This place was a total surprise! A rained out beach day lead my group of friends here last Saturday and we weren’t disappointed. We were just looking for some beer and pool tables and much more fun! This rating doesn’t include food… yet. This place was a lot bigger than I thought. Darts, ping pong, air hockey, foos ball, pool, basketball, and quite a few arcade games like Nascar driving and Golden Tee cover one half of this place! Adult Chuckie Cheese! We had buckets of beer and lots of fun!

This place is more of an adult playground. There are games and tv galore. I went one weekend and there was corn hole being played outside. Definitely lots of things to keep people busy including pool tables. I came in to order a cheese burger. I ordered the French Dip and Mac & Cheese. This was actually delicious. I was pleasantly surprised. The bread was fresh the beef wasn’t overdone. Now that Mac & Cheese was very cheesy. Very Nice. I’ve been here before and wanted to rate it with a 4 star review but this food kicks ass for bar food. Makes me want to try out the other varieties of flavors they have on the menu. Very odd collection of cuisines. Plus the young lady at the bar was very sweet and accommodating in case I didn’t like my Mac & Cheese which I am very picky about. It was delicious. It wasn’t baked a as it wasn’t regular style. Kinda a combo of each.

This is a great place to get murdered at air hockey. Suck at ping pong? Show off your lack of ability here. Basketball? You know you suck. Skee ball? I need rehab. I think I have a rotator cuff injury from the one time I got 30 points. Video games, pin ball, photo booth and pool tables are all at your disposal. The bar up front is a little dark and damp. They play all of the pertinent sports games. Drink specials are pretty special. I like that they serve champagne too. And popcorn. So relax and have fun.

This is a cool spot to hang out at on JI. I can’t attest to the food yet, but it’s open until two, so it’s a great place to come for a few drinks after work. There’s plenty to do here: arcade, pool, foosball, ping pong, air hockey, etc. There’s usually live music or a DJ in the main bar area, so they have plenty to offer. I’d say it’s definitely worth checking out. Also, the drinks are very reasonably priced, so that’s always a plus!

I can’t quite figure this place out. Half bar, half arcade. If you’re looking to beat someone at air hockey, skee ball or hoops, head to this joint. It’s actually kind of cool in there, now that I think about it. I like air hockey.
