Professional, friendly and efficient. Saved me so much time by knocking out a laundry list of projects upon moving into new home. David is awesome!

Their motto is «one time and done right» He was 2.5 hours late and told me that he had no clue how to fix the floor problem. I was told he was the «flooring expert» to which he laughed. He was gone in 10 minutes.

The service from Mr. Handyman was excellent from the first phone call to the appointment confirmation to the «I can be early if you want» call to the actual arrival of technician and the work.
Throughout, Matt was extremely courteous and professional and he made quick work of the job so we were only charged for the one hour.
Given my lack of ladder-​skills and general clumsiness, I will absolutely be calling Mr. Handyman in the future for the little jobs around the house I’m just not confident with.

After getting burned by a disappearing one-​man-​show handyman, it was really refreshing to work with Mr. Handyman’s uniformed, official vehicle-​driving, professional staff (both on the phone and in person). You’ll pay more for their services over a smaller business or individual, but in my opinion, it’s worth it.
We had a wide range of things done, including sink pipe clearing/​cleaning, lattice work replaced under the house, new sink caulking, and porch light replacements, among other tasks.
Our technician, Matt, was always on time and very tidy and prompt in his work. I’d definitely recommend Mr. Handyman to anyone needing miscellaneous to-do’s done in/​around the house!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about my experience with Mr. Handyman.
We needed everything from replacement of stairs, painting a room, installing ceiling fans. This fantastic man then weed wacked and cleaned a very large porch. Two days of work and my home is all the better for it. I already have them scheduled for a few more projects!

If I could, I’d give no stars. I am in the process of purchasing a home in Summerville. I gave Mr. handyman a copy of the inspection report on the house and told them I wanted everything fixed. I don’t live in the house yet. The sellers are still in there, so I wasn’t there to oversee the work being done. But I was emailed before and after pictures of the work done along with the bill. I had them do some caulking on the outside of the house where cables, wires and pipes ran through the siding, to prevent water from getting behind the siding. The caulking job they did was a joke. It was completely sloppy and an eyesore. They were supposed to replace a piece of sheet metal on the corner of the outside of the chimney so that it lapped properly over the other piece. Well instead, they simply caulked over the seam and did a very sloppy job on that as well. I also had them repair a loose shingle on the front lower roof. They secured it, but only after they had ripped it in half. This company charges by the hour and they charge for supplies, as well as a $ 20 «van fee». They charged me for 3 hours and 15 minutes when the jobs they did should’ve taken no more than 2 hours at most to do everything. They had written on the bill that there was a $ 61 materials charge… but no list of what materials were used and how much for each material. So I told them I was unhappy with the horrible caulking job and the fact that they ripped my shingle. I also requested a breakdown of the materials they were charging me for. They sent a different tech out to redo all the outside caulking and to replace the shingle that they damaged. And they said they would get back to me with a breakdown of the materials. So the second guy went out and redid the caulking. However, he said that he couldn’t find a damaged shingle on the roof. And since I don’t live there yet and I don’t have access to the roof, I couldn’t look for myself. But I have pictures to prove that the shingle was NOT ripped in half when it was loose, but it WAS ripped in half once it was put back in place. So one of two things occurred. Either the second guy who went out there replaced the shingle with a new one and is lying to protect the reputation of the company and/​or to cover the first guys butt… or he is just lying about not being able to find the ripped shingle. I did get permission from the sellers to stop by and inspect the caulking on the outside of the house that I could see from the ground. And surprise surprise, it was still sloppy. Then i finally (4 days later) got a breakdown of materials I was being charged for. They charged me for 3 tubes of caulk, when I am pretty sure that they used less than one tube of caulk on the house. They also charged me over $ 25 for «2 brick gutter splash guards», when in reality, they only placed ONE splash guard and it was PLASTIC! The rest of the materials charges seemed legit. But obviously these people are awful handymen, liars and crooks. I called the manager and complained about all of this. He wanted to send out a third technician to «make it right», but I told him «at this point, I don’t want any of your guys going back to my house». I told him I do not feel that I should have to pay the whole bill considering most of the materials charges are bogus and that the caulking is all sloppy and my shingle is now damaged. He put me on hold and came back to say that the best he can do is not charge me the $ 61 for materials and knock another $ 15 off. Gee thanks!!! What a deal! Are you kidding me? But considering the price he brought it down to was exactly the max that the sellers had agreed to pay towards the repairs, I agreed to it. But the little work they did, along with the damage they caused, and the false charges they made, it was a total waste of money! I would only recommend these clowns to my worst enemies.
