I was here for a work event, so I can’t really comment on the services of the building, but I will say that on a cold February day, I truly appreciated the valet service at the front door ($ 5 — cash only). While I was there, the staff was friendly, conversational, and very helpful when assistance was needed. The facility was clean and welcoming, and a Starbucks is available on-​site for those who like that sort of thing. A cafeteria and gift shop on the ground floor make it easy to nourish both physically and emotionally those that are visiting MUSC.

My wife had surgery for pancreatic cancer. The surgeon was very skilled, his team was really a team. They were knowledgeable informative, compassionate. The hospital was very clean and comfortable. The nurses and support staff made us feel as if we owned the hospital.
