Sugar Snap Pea

Okay so I was excited to find a cute little boutiquey baby store on kings street while shopping around and I thought the name was super clever. Upon walking around, I felt like things weren’t that unique as people have mentioned and that I could find most of the same if not similar items online at a much cheaper price. I really was looking for something exclusive and unfortunately I could not find it here.
The lady working here told me to check out the back for their sale section and so I went. A few things that I found to be cute were extremely over priced and felt like they were more full price items than actually sale items. I’m talking tiny little baby cardigans for $ 40 on sale. That’s pretty steep in my opinion. They do get some stars for having some really cute children’s items that I saw not on sale but again super expensive and since kids out grow things so fast I felt like this store was just a tad out of my budget. But they do have some cute clothes if you’re not on any sort of budget.
Not sure if I’d be back unless they add more stuff to the sale and slice those prices in half.

Top notch kids store in Charleston! Any child, boy or girl, 0 – 12, should have a gift from here! From clothing to books to baby toys (older kids toys too) they have it all! The staff is excellent and very helpful while their selection is one of a kind in South Carolina! They even have a fantastic sales rack in the back. You will not be sorry you stopped here and put some dollars into the local economy. They have a second location in Mt. Pleasant so you can’t go wrong.

Sugar and spice and everything nice — that’s what Sugar Snap Pea is made of. This is such a cute boutique with a small, but high quality selection of children’s clothes (Tea Collection), stuffed animals (Jellycat), books and other toys.

This boutique is fantastic. It was lovely to walk into a children’s store and not see the same, old thing. Sugar Snap Pea stocks unique toys/​accessories and beautiful clothing. The staff was incredibly helpful and happily answered my seemingly endless questions. If I lived closer, I’m pretty sure I would buy my child’s entire wardrobe (and toy collection) here.

W left the daughter with the grandparents and still ended up here shopping for her. A really cute kids store with a lovely book sections and new takes on classic toys. They are planning on opening a store similar to this in Mount Peasant in the coming months. I could have spent a Franklin on all the cool books. We found a good gift for my niece her with the magnetic dolls. I don’t really know what they are but my wife was ecstatic because she used to play with ones similar when she was little. They have a little play area for kids while you shop along with stroller parking if it is full. The lady behind the counter was very helpful and pleasure to converse with.

This little childrens boutique is as good as it gets. The owner is sweet and helpful as can be with a great eye for kids fashion, toys and gear. The space is very well laid out and its easy to find everything you need! This store has brands you don’t see everywhere, a good variety of price points and a mix of both play-​clothes & special occasion things. Shoes too! This store is simply awesome and I can’t recommend it highly enough!
