Susans Viip Grooming

Really look forward to our next visit because our first one was so good.
I took our 11lb fur-​kid here today and met with both Susan (the owner) and Stacey the Fur-​Beauty-​Professional. Both ladies were über nice, curious, welcoming and were so kind to our little dog. The atmosphere very positive.
I had our dog’s nails clipped and we got in immediately. Susan confirmed walk-​ins are welcome for this kind of service, which took maybe 10 minutes.
The salon is very open, clean and well-​lit. All groomers were very friendly without going over the top as far as their energy goes. I am a HUGE fan in calm/​assertive energy (hail Cesar!), so this experience only enhanced our dog’s training. There was a small ‘doggy coral’ in the main entrance/​off to the side where a group of small dogs were just chillin’, and all very sweet and seeming to be comfortable with their situ. There is another smaller room where the kennels are which I could easily see through a window.
I noticed how the groomers were very careful and kind to their ‘clients’, making sure of their comfort by using calm voices and petting. The grooming stands and equipment seemed sturdy and well-​maintained.
Parking is available right out front, wheelchair accessible ramp and a green space for pee-​breaks (along with a poop bag station!). Finding the salon was slightly challenging, only because it is located behind a small mall.
As I said, I look forward to another visit here for further services. I am not sure if appointments are recommended for baths etc, but from how busy Stacey said they get, it would prolly be a good idea.
