The ladies were super helpful and nice… Even when my kid knocked over a few cups. love the cups! The store is clean and the people are friendly. They literally have a cup for everyone.

Confession time! When I’m at home, I drink exclusively from Tervis Tumblers. I’ve ditched almost every other type of drinking vessel in favor of these insulated imbibing machines. Considering it’s all they sell, liking this store is in direct relation to your fandom of the cups. Yes they are expensive but they truly are a great product. I’ve ended up getting so many people hooked on them and that’s why I stop by here from time to time for a gift. The location makes sense as I’m sure it’s a popular item for tourists. It’s a pain in the ass to get there as a local but it’s tough to fault them for knowing where the money is. I’ve always had great customer service and the selection can’t be beat. ***For those of you who think this is just a tourist trap selling chintzy cups at marked up prices, you’re wrong. Yes you can find something similar with liquid and glitter inside at any souvenir shop, but they’re knock-offs of the Tervis brand. These cups ‘actually’ don’t sweat and carry a lifetime warranty which I’ve made use of myself. They stand behind the product.

Ok I’m a Tervis nut. A great selection and a nice chance to enjoy some AC while shopping !

This is clearly here for the tourists, but if you like Tervis tumblers they have a giant selection and even a custom order section where you can DIY a Tervis to be sent off and made for you. Prices were standard for a Tervis, so it is nice ot be able to come and one-stop-shop for them rather than running to 3 different stores trying to find the one that someone wants as a gift. Don’t forget to ask for the military discount if you qualifiy. Not sure if they offer student.

This store really has no place in Charleston. It’s in a touristy spot so, of course, tourists, like me, will stop in and spend obscene amounts of money on a tumbler when we can purchase one back home for drastically less. It is a fun spot to soak up some AC and check out the varieties of tumblers. They have some Charleston souvenir ones as well as for different sports teams and Disney characters to name a few. On the plus side, they are made in the USA and have a lifetime guarantee.

Of course a place like Tervis exists. This proves there is a store for anything and everything. Now all of us have seen one of these goofy double insulated clear cups at someone’s beach house. You know the ones, with some liquid in the walls of the cup and when you tip it towards your mouth the glitter or confetti that is also mixed in moves around? Well if you are in need of any variety of this style of cup then this is the megastore for you. Now remember something before going in and spending your hard earned dollars. First, the store is on the corner of one of the more heavily tourist traveled areas in Charleston. Therefore employee aggravation and«I am already annoyed by the customers who have been coming in here all day» factor might already be pretty high and in full effect. Second, do not be shocked to find some of these plastic cups in the $ 30 range as I was. Seriously? These cups are THIS much? I went to a thrift store last week and there were at least 5 of these for about a buck each. Not a bad place really, just way over priced and not my cup of tea. Although… I bet they keep tea pretty cold… hmmmmmm
