I found The Clipper Club right here on Unilocal.I had been using Sports Clips for years but had found a wild variance of skill and the results were often less than pleasant. Lori took the time to really discover what was important to me about how I wear my hair and then provided me with an easy to replicate style that has brought me nothing but compliments. Great service and worth every penny.

Never had a chance to get a haircut here because when I showed up eight minutes late and knocked on the door she opened it halfway and said that I was«super late» and she couldn’t cut my hair because she had another appointment in twenty minutes. Very rude. I tell people to stay away. After all, it’s just a haircut

Got a haircut that I liked very much. It was easy to book an appointment with her by text message. It’s a small room that is very nice, Lori was easy to talk to and made it very comfortable the whole time, she is just a friendly, talented hair cutter. She has a range of services, i just went for the haircut last time.

Just got«the Lifesaver» and I couldn’t be more happy with the whole experience. Lori is great at what she does and really knows how to fit a haircut to the individual person. Do yourself a favor, stop going to chop shops and go get your hair styled by someone who knows what she is doing. Walk out feeling relaxed and looking good.

I can honestly say that I never had a haircut I loved until Lori began cutting my hair a couple of years ago. The Clipper Club has a very relaxed and intimate atmosphere and Lori really knows her stuff. Very friendly, very professional and highly recommended!

I love getting haircuts here! Lori was very helpful when I had some styling questions. «The Lifesaver» turns getting a haircut from a chore into a relaxing chance to de-stress. A great haircut and a great experience.

Lori at The Clipper Club is the only person I trust to cut and style my hair. The whole experience is completely amazing. I normally go for the«Lifesaver», which is a scalp/neck/shoulder massage and hot towel treatment + the best haircut I have ever had. On days I get a cut + style from Lori, if I’m walking down the street afterward, people definitely notice my awesome haircut! BTW — there is another reviewer here talking about a hot shave. I asked Lori about that, and FYI, that is not a service she offers. I think that reviewer might have meant to review a different business.

Great experience here. I had to leave Lori a message after calling a few times and getting the machine, but she was very quick to call me back. She was even able to fit me in the same day. Being greeted at the door was just beginning of a very nice one-on-one session with Lori in her intimate one-chair salon. I’ve been to some of the nicer barberspas downtown, but none made me feel like I was THE most important customer they had. We had a great conversation(which my granddad taught me is one of the most important parts of a man’s haircut) and I was extremely satisfied with the cut. As another reviewer mentioned, the second wash after the haircut is miles beyond the normal brush on the neck. The icing on the cake was Lori’s suggestions for styling my new haircut — I received several compliments on it that weekend. There are certainly many places that charge way more for way less. Give Lori a call.

You’ve gotta check this place out! This place came recommended by a friend who is meticulous about his appearance so I knew it was worth checking out. The Clipper Club is actually one individual experienced stylist, owner Lori Bush, who’s salon is on the rear side of Wappoo Cuts off Maybank Highway. Know how you can tell this place is different than just your average haircut/barber place… they have a Menu of Services offered. That’s right guys, if you are expected to be in and out in 20 mins and pay your $ 15 for the same crappy haircut you’ve had for the last 6 years then go to the Hair Cuttery. However if your interested in an «ultimate barbering experience» give this establishment a try. I know you’ll be sold! I started off my «experience» by having Lori welcome me into the salon, a relaxing, warm, fragrant place with a groovy beat playing in the background. She took the time to ask me about the products I’ve been using on my hair, what I was hoping for with a style, and the list of services she could provide. I opted for what is called«The Lifesaver» — all of the menu choices have something to do with what you’d do in or around water; a cute idea since her logo is a clipper ship. Before I started my «lifesaver» experience Lori asked me to change into a white undershirt so that the massage oils wouldn’t get on the shirt i had worn in. I have to admit, i didn’t really expect this… but in hindsight not having to worry about leaving the place with oil stains was nice. Nice touch, Lori! So anyway, Lori started with a standard shampoo, then moved me to her chair. This is when she reclined me back and put a stuffed pillow under my feet to get me in a more horizontal position. Next she used a men’s facial oil to give me a head and scalp massage, then moved onto my neck and shoulders. It was as amazing as it sounds… wow! There were a couple of times, that had we not been chatting I know I would have dosed off. After the massage, Lori finishes off the head and neck treatment with a hot facial towel. Next she sat me up and talked more about my hair and the styling I was interested in. Already calmed by the massaging i was looking forward to seeing what Lori could do with my hair. We decided on a style sort of similar to what I’d had, but Lori had a way of suggesting things about lengths and cut styles that I couldn’t help but say«lets try it». I’m so glad it did — the cut itself is terrific. Whats even better is that after she finished cutting she did another shampoo session to get rid of all the extra hair. I don’t know about you other guys, but whats worse than leaving the barber /haircut place and finding you have gobs of hair in your ears or that you are itching so badly around the neck you have to go home and take a shower? Not with Lori and this hair cut experience! She then adds product to your hair and styles it for you. I was more than happy with the service, cut, and style that Lori provided to me. Whats even better, with the Lifesaver package she gives you a 2 — week free clean up service around the ears and neckline! That gives you the ability to keep it looking good for even longer… exceptional! And if you can believe it this whole shampoo, massage, hot towel, cut, style, 2-week free clean up is only $ 45!!! My jaw dropped when I saw how cheap it was. OK, so its out of your typical college kid’s budget, but that’s not the clientele Lori is going for here… she’s looking for that professional guy or hard working individual who needs just an extra bit of pampering and wants to look great in the end. All I can say is give this place one try and you’ll be hooked… If our wives and girlfriends can spend insane amounts of money on hair cuts, colorings, and nails — why cant the guys have a spa like retreat to take care of ourselves too?
