The UPS Store

I have been using this store for my shipping needs for years. They are very reliable, provide great service and offer a pleasant neighborhood feel. I love the team there and so does my dog — (they always have dog treats)!

If you have to send an envelope where not too much can go wrong, it’s probably ok to use this place. But if you need any «after-​service» from the people who work here — forget it. They are unresponsive, evasive and unreliable. I shipped two boxes back to the West Coast after teaching at COFC and used this shop. The boxes must have been tossed like bean bags because a few items were broken. I called them about one item (trying to minimize the complaint factor) and a woman named Bailey said she would file a claim with UPS since there is $ 100 of automatic insurance coverage. They never filed the claim (at least that’s what I can tell), they never responded to my numerous phone calls unless they accidentally picked up, they didn’t return phone call messages, they asked me for emails and then wouldn’t respond. Essentially, they ran for the hills. The loss was not that great but it would have been the right thing for the UPS store to interface with UPS, as they promised to do. Instead, they put on their phony telephone politeness and became MIA.
