Awesome store! Retro brand shirts are extremely soft and are more fitted so they will conform to your body. If you’re fat, they probably won’t fit you well. Excellent selection of shirts with usually 3 – 4 designs and colors for all teams. I have Retro Brand shirts from 5 years ago and the fabric holds up well. Definitely worth the $ 34.99 proce for the shirt because they last forever.

The store is split between The Vault and Haute Hanger like Scotty C. mentioned. My review is for Haute Hanger. They have a lot of cute clothes and the prices are reasonable.

This was really a 3.5 star but I rounded up. I enjoy this store and pop in if I am walking by. It is split into a women’s boutique(I think called Haute Hanger) on one side and vintage sportswear store(The Vault) on the other side. The store has unique items you won’t find elsewhere, at least not downtown Charleston. The price is a bit higher than it should be on the men’s sports apparel. I would be more willing to pay the higher price if the items were actual vintage pieces and not reproductions. I do have a Red Sox shirt from here that a friend bought for me as a gift. It is quality and I like the look/fit. The shirt is a great vintage reproduction but, I feel like I am sure I could find similar for cheaper. Overall they have a wide selection and plenty of college and pro team apparel. If you are looking for something different, check them out. As for the women’s side, I can’t say much but, I was in there with a friend who scored amazing deals on nice dresses and tops. I believe it is more the«vintage» sports wear that carries the higher price tag. Enjoy!

Must visit if you make it to Charleston! This store is amazing — plenty of retro t-shirts for those wanting to look sporty but stylish! The women’s side has many cute girly girl options as well. Lots of variety & unique clothing options! Prices are a bit steep for t-shirts; however, considering they’re vintage(& fabulous) I had no problem shelling out extra for them.

Ahhh The Vault. How I love you. They have a quirky assortment of men/women’s vintage-y looking clothing and retro sports apparel. Prices are reasonable, with clothes that can be dressed up or down– their style is kind of similar to Urban Outfitters, but with a little bit more class. It is a mandatory browsing/shopping spot on King St.
