This is some of, if not the best mexican food in Charleston. My only complaint is that they are not open more often. That might be a good thing though because I go there often enough as it is. Also ask for the red hot sauce. It is awesome. This place is a downtown jewel.

Well, this appears to be the best we’ll get around here. Carnitas were spot on, nothing fancy here just tasty cuisine. They need to keep up the good work and may be toss out a table or two.

I stumbled across the Torres superette for the first time 5 days ago and I’ve already been back 4 times! They have a food counter at the back of the store that serves incredible Mexican food and also hot dogs burgers etc. they offer a very reasonable lunch special daily that usually includes a drink. I’ve tried the tacos, quesadilla, and fajitas and all have been delicious. The store is also extremely clean and all of the staff are very friendly. I would definitely recommend supporting this local family owned business. I will be telling all of my friends!
