I love going to Alfredo’s. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is pretty great as well. I wish they had a larger beer selection, but the great food makes up for it! Can’t wait to go back again!

Incredible food, wonderful atmosphere. Best Kabobs I’ve ever had. Steak extremely tender, Lamb was flavorful. The free appetizer of hummus and pita was incredible. Worth a long drive to get here if you need to.

If in Charles Town this is the place to go. A wonderful eastern menu. We had to wait 20 minutes but it was worth it. The place was slammed on a Sunday night durning memorial day weekend. We had an appetizer plate of tomato/cucumber, hummus, feta with pita. Simple but just so good. The lamb kabobs, again so simple but wonderful. Cooked and seasoned perfectly. The staff so polite and attentive. Sadly no craft beers, but a good variety of ye old stand bottle beers. I can’t say it enough but I will say it again, ifyou are in Charles Town you need to go.

In Charles Town on business and went with my Unilocal brethren for dinner suggestions and chose Alfredo’s from the reviews. The guy that owned the place was there and he was a little creepy but the food was good. The guy playing the guitar was surprisingly talented and the weird eclectic décor made you feel like you was at someones place for dinner though the place was packed. I had the lamb and beef kabobs with a Ibiza salad and they give you a free appetizer of Shirazi salad, humus and feta cheese with pita. Everything was fresh and light and very tasty. The lemon cake I had for desert was one of the best I’ve ever had. I can honestly say that I would have never thought I would find a restaurant like this in down town Charles Town WV. Lastly, the Moroccan tea was exceptional and had flavors I couldn’t identify which is a good thing or bad thing depending on how you look at it.

This was our first time here and we were very impressed. The free appetizer was delicious! I got the steak and chicken kabobs with rice, and it was outstanding. The rice was especially delicious. My wife got the Greek salad and added a chicken kabob, and she thought it was the best she’s ever had. We will be back to try more dishes for sure!

No complaints. We thought the prices were a bit high but then we got our food. Excellent and super fresh. Server was very attentive and willing to answer our questions. A definite recommendation.

We were extremely pleased with all of the food. The free appetizer was unexpected, salad, hummus, feta and pita. The gyro meat was outstanding along with the hummus they also have Italian food, Marsala and Alfredo. Price was a little on the high side for eating out there all the time, however this will be on our places to go.

Was driving through the area and stopped here with the rest of my family. So good! I had the fettuccini Alfredo, which was amazing. The portions are pretty big. Really nice ambiance, I imagine a good date place. The guy who runs the nice worked so hard and was so nice with us. If you’re in the area I would recommend!

Pretty good. The service was excellent as was the free appetizer. I had the gyro over the antipasto salad. The salad wasn’t what I expected being more lettuce versus meat and cheese, but that’s probably how it’s served in the owner’s home country. It’s a good stop if you’re looking for something different than the usual. It’s a nice alternative for a small town restaurant. Give it a try!

Really good food, the Mediterranean plates are great, specially the appetizers. Place is on the small side, but the service is really friendly and good.

My parents, sister, and I had a really nice evening at Alfredo’s Mediterranean Café this evening. The meal began with a nice, complementary appetizer of warm pita, feta, humus, and Shirazi salad and continued with our main courses. I really enjoyed the Sultani Café combination with the Kabob-e-Koobideh and Chicken Kabob. All of the meats were moist, seasoned nicely, and accompanied by delicious saffron rice that was not overly buttery like some restaurants serve. Everyone in my party enjoyed the shaker of sumac provided at our table which is a nice touch normally reserved for really authentic Middle Eastern or Mediterranean restaurants. We ended our meal with a shared portion of baklava, which was served warm and was deliciously sweet. If you find yourself in Charles Town or Harpers Ferry and are looking for a delicious meal in a nice, friendly setting, do yourself a favor and visit.

Simply order sweet tea and be surprised with a Persian tea with amazing spice and strong tea flavor. Went here on Valentines Day with my boyfriend and we were promptly seated and met with a menu with a wide variety of dishes. The Coquilles St Jacques(scallops tossed with pasta in a creamy herbed sauce) is the BOMB. Great atmosphere inside too!

Charles town has precious few restaurants outside of the casino and fast food categories, so we found ourselves here on friday night. I think this was what we expected, but not in line with other reviews. So take this for what it’s worth– your experience may vary. 1. Menu– the menu was odd. It had French, Italian, Spanish, and Persian sections– maybe more. Plus a sandwich section. I had a devil of a time choosing something because nothing seemed very appealing– none of the samplers included baba ganoush, I wish I could have made my own combo(baba ganoush, hummus, dolmeh, olives– done)… And the kabobs came with either rice or a salad… I was hoping for something a little more interesting. I didn’t want Italian food– I’m kind of picky about my Italian… So that left the pickings slim. 2. Service– our server seemed like a fellow diner. He actually sat down and ate an appetizer plate at the table next to us while we were eating. And he did not bother with formalities– there was a lot of «what» «yeah» and other things you don’t usually hear from servers. But the service was prompt. Nothing lagged. 3. Food– the complimentary appetizer plate was tasty. We got extra pita– it was warm and soft and fresh. Prob the best thing about the meal. The hummus was a little runny, but good, and it was paired with a cucumber and tomato salad as well as feta cheese. I got the salmon kabob, and was very confused. The salmon was dry and not well seasoned. It wasn’t cooked on a stick(no holes, no stick on the plate) and overall it just wasn’t very good. The rice was dry. No seasoning, no flavor. There were two grilled onions and one grilled tomato on the plate. Super disappointing. Wouldn’t order again. Esp for $ 17, which is what I paid. My husband got the fettuccine Alfredo. The sauce was good once he added salt, but it was just a giant mess of pasta with a super heavy cream sauce. No veggies or anything to balance it out. He didn’t complain and couldn’t finish the whole portion, but it isn’t something i would order or recommend. Overall, not a restaurant that I would definitely go back to. Not awful, just not great. It’s possible that we would give it another shot, maybe the falafel is better?

This was the best place we ate in Charlestown, by far! Their menu is really varied with all different kinds of cuisines — Italian, Greek, Persian, etc. They brought out a complimentary sampler plate of feta, hummus, pita and tomato/cucumber salad. What a nice touch! I ordered the eggplant stew and it was delicious! This tomato based stew with lentils, beef and eggplant was served on rice. The eggplant melted in my mouth, it was so flavorful and tender. It was perfect for the freezing cold day.

Excellent food. I had the Chicken Kabob with Shirazi salad. Kabobs come with a Tzatziki(cucumber sauce), a quartered grilled onion, and a tomato; both having that great ‘taste of the grill’. A+

We were very lucky to have found this restaurant on our trip back home. This place offers gourmet Mediterranean food in a family owned business environment. Some of the dishes we have had at a bunch of other Mediterranean restaurants were presented to us in an entirely different way giving us the feeling that it was much more authentic. The dolmeh in particular had an amazing flavor we hadn’t experienced before. The staff were very kind and attentive to us as well. We loved it and will remember it as a place to stop from now on as we frequently pass the area to visit family.

We stopped here on a recommendation from our daughter. It’s a cozy little restaurant a short drive into downtown from the Casino. We started our meal with a complimentary appetizer plate… hummus, feta, chopped salad & warm pita. Super yum! We of course ordered the dolmeh which were homemade & good. A few of the grape leaves were ‘tough’ & hard to bite… but we managed. For dinner I had the Kabob-e-Koobideh…a nicely grilled ground beef kabob with a side of basmati rice. My husband had the Steak & Chicken Kabob & was very disappointed in the quality of the chicken.(Sponge like & too chewy. We noticed other patrons experiencing the same issue with their chicken… placing it to the side & not eating it) The other ODD thing was that we were not served pita with our meal. Overall I’d say it was a good meal. Not excellent, but worth another try on another evening. The one thing that I’d point out is that the menu covers a lot of cuisines that don’t necessarily go together… Persian, Moroccan, Lebanese, Italian, French & Spanish. My suggestion is to stick with one cuisine & showcase that…

An unexpected find in Charles town! Delicious, fresh authentic food from Spain, and Greece. Excellent service, great prices, good vibe. I had the lamb kabob with the greek salad. Tender juicy meat and so flavorful. The greek salad was full of ingredients and delish. Also started with the hummus — one of my favorites! Dan had the beef kabob and also loved it.

A friend invited me out to dinner and suggested«this really great Mediterranean restaurant in Charles Town». My response was quite simply«Charles Town?!» Yes, that’s right Unilocalers! Charles Town has a delicious Mediterranean restaurant and you should give it a try. To start, diners are given a great complimentary appetizer. It was almost too good to share, but alas, I try to be a good dinner date. For my entrée, I ordered a chicken kabob, steak kabob and shirazi salad(as featured in the app). Wonderful! The meal was fresh and flavorful. I even got to enjoy it again with my lunch of leftovers the next day. The only disappointment was dessert, the baklava was a bit stale. Otherwise, this was a really nice experience! The service was friendly and the ambiance was nice too. It’s a rather casual restaurant that offers some flare, including live music! I am looking forward to many more meals enjoyed!
