We are out and about and low and behold we want pizza! In a town we don’t know where to get pizza we take a shot at the K & S. I checked them out online and got directions a very easy ride later we are pulling up to a cute pizza place. Clean, bright and welcoming are my 1st thoughts, someone was getting take out but other than that we were it. The menu is clearly on the wall behind the order and check out counter. Drink coolers line one side of the pizza restaurant and simple, new tables are on both sides as you walk down the middle to the ordering counter. Music was playing from behind the counter kitchen area lightly. A single staff member greeted us, took our order of a large cheese, mushroom and half pepperoni pizza w two bottled drinks, made our pizza and brought it to us all very efficiently! She was pleasantly friendly and made a fantastic pizza which was pretty important! I ate 2 hearty slices and was full, got to take some home which didn’t last the day unfortunately! The pizza has fresh slices of tomatoes under the cheese instead of a pizza sauce so it almost reminded me of a white pizza. I loved it! The menu boast of calzones, salads, & more! The pizza section of the menu was creative with a lot of fresh veggies. The crust was excellent, this isn’t a thin cracker crust but a crispy on the edges, thick, chewy, golden crust you won’t want to leave behind.

Ok, lived in Charlestown for 25 years and never tried this place. What a mistake! Great pizza, all local ingredients… What’s not to love! Saw it on Facebook and decided to give it a try… it’s in an odd location– but not too hard to find off Rt. 112. Go if you get a chance…

We stopped here on out way from east beach this place is small but full of life! It has the old fashion pizza parlor look with a jazzed up look at the same time! We sat down and waited for our food! It always takes longer when you hungry. It wasn’t long at all and for as good it was I would wait longer lol!

Been waiting for 55 minutes for two pizzas and two grinders, four employees that can’t keep track of 7 orders at one time Update– got home with food, slip has exclamation points next to the words no tomatoes for one of the grinders, guess what, it had tomatoes. Asked for not toasted on chicken cutlet, says cold on slip, guess what, toasted. !!!this place is a joke!!!

I really want to like this place because I literally live right down the street. I get take out from here semi-frequently when I’m too busy to cook for my family of 4, and unfortunately I am disappointed every time. I’ve given them numerous tries due to their close proximity to my home, and still I am underwhelmed. If you do decide to order from K&S, definitely stick to pizza. The pizza is good. I like the veggie special pizzas, particularly the Greek one. The sandwiches however, are pretty bad. I ordered a chicken parm sub a little while back that was literally inedible. And that’s not something that is easy to mess up. I always order the marinara on the side when getting this item takeout, so it’s not a mushy mess. When the sandwich arrived I was horrified by what was in the roll. They had the nerve to take one of those gross processed chicken patty things, presumably from a big Ol box of frozen pattys, cut it in half, put it on the untoasted roll, put one meager slice of provolone on it, proceed to melt the ever living shit out of the cheese so it was a hard overcooked chunk, and throw that in a bag and send it to my house. Maybe they usually get away with it when the whole thing is slathered in marinara, but since I got the sauce on the side I had to come face to face with that pathetic chicken patty. If I wanted to eat something that gross, I’d go back in time and eat at my high school cafeteria. Wendy’s serves better chicken sandwiches than they do. It was really bad, I threw it away. I’m not sure processed chicken pattys fall into the«farm to table» category, but I don’t know, maybe they only focus on the«locavore» scene in the summer, when the beach tourists are around. The irony. My other gripe with this place is that they are consistently pretty rude. Just completely uninterested is being nice. Oh yeah, And their wings suck too. The only reason to go here, ever, is if you happen to be in the area, and you stick to the pizza. And, like I said, maybe they try harder in the summer.

Excellent pizza. There are four pizza places in the town of Richmond and this one is the best. Never had an issue, pizza is always made to perfection and the sauce is very tasty and they use the smaller pepperoni which I like alot better because I get my pizza well done and it makes the pepperoni crispy around the edges. They are very big on locally grown as that is a big plus in my book. The service is very friendly and prompt. They also have clam cakes and chowder during the spring and summer seasons and they are also excellent.

Chicken parm was dry. Needs more sauce and toasting of the bread. Everything else was pretty straight.

We traveled from Providence to try this place because of the great reviews, and it did not disappoint. We had the 5 pounder pizza. My guest, upon biting into the crust, proclaimed that was the best he had ever eaten! The amount of cheese was truly impressive. The real test is biting into the slice and having a string of cheese stretch from the pie to your mouth… well, this one stretched, snapped, and wrapped around my neck! I have to say, I ain’t mad at that! The folks working there were also super nice and patient with my questions. The shop itself was super cute, with nicely designed, colorful signs describing the various specialty pizzas. You can tell they support local business, since they are one of the few places selling Yaht Club soda(a favorite!)… Lots of regulars came in and out as we waited for our pizza, talking and laughing with the staff and one another. You can definitely tell this place is well established and loved.

The food is great! Every time we order, the food is hot, fresh and cooked perfectly. I absolutely support K & S Pizza’s local initiative. They source as much food from local farmers as possible. Mrs S. may have had food that she considered overcooked but I have not. The owner is always available to make good on any mistakes, all you have to do is email him. There is a link to his email address on the website.

Such great pizza! We’ve gotten delivery a handful of times and are never disappointed. Delivery times are average. The drivers are always nice. Glad we are in delivery distance of K & S. Great great pizza!

I had a lunch date with a friend on 2⁄16. I love pizza and all its«sister-forms.» I ordered the Good Fella calzone: spinach, sausage, roasted peppers, pepperoncini, fresh garlic served with a side of marinara(I think it had«banana peppers» in it too which I *LOVED*). My friend ordered a burger which was served on a hoagie roll and she loves burgers. We were both extremely pleased and hope to return soon for an encore lunch date. Restaurant was clean and service was excellent.

K&S is now a farm to table restaurant. Associated with FarmFreshRI.Org The Local Catch as well as supporting local artisans. This alones achieves my appreciation. The gentleman that fascilitated my to-go order today was thoughtful and thorough! Now as the daughter of generations of Swamp Yankees, this is a true compliment; the clamcakes I had from K&S today were the best I have ever had.

What a great pizza! The crust is crunchy and not too heavy. The sauce is not overpowering and the toppings are incredibly fresh. I always visit this place when I am on my way home from the beach or just not in the mood to make dinner. It’s family owned, you can tell they take a lot of pride in the food they serve.
