Cheap stuff for a good cause The Restore is part of the Habitat for Humanity organization. The stores are scattered around the country and take donations of used stuff and then used the money to build homes for the underprivileged. Pretty cool stuff. The Restore in Charlestown is quite large with many different rooms with all kinds of different things piled up in every available space, Not exactly a place with a lot of ambiance or décor, the inside looks like a large and very messy garage. You never know what you are going to find here and it isn’t exactly Home Depot. You definitely take you chances with finding a particular item but it is fun digging around and looking at all the different things. Occasionally you will stumble across something really cool and bizarre. The manage to get lots of old furniture, plumbing things like sinks and toilets, tables, lamps, some clothes, old windows, random chunks of wood, weird old pictures and lot of strange knick knacks and doo dads. A whole heap of different and very cheap things. Of course the money they get goes to a great cause. Habitat for Humanity has built a whole bunch of houses around the country for people that really need a place to live. Definitely a cool store to poke around and explore. It’s difficult to walk out without something that you didn’t even knew you needed.
