A wonderful bookstore! Small, but with marvelous selection, including the latest best-sellers plus a large selection of literature, fiction, history and mystery. Also has good children’s books section. The owners are very friendly and helpful and seem to have read every single book they sell. They are happy to provide cheerfully knowledgeable recommendations but are also quite content to let one browse. Highly recommended.

This bookstore was formally located on Mason St., but relocated to 216 Bridge St. It is located on the short block, in the middle of the block, that overlooks Round Lake, this it’s name. The store is operated on a year round basis. Special orders are welcomed and generally received within 36 hours, or less. It has a resident book store dog by the name of Cheeseball. While small in size it carries all best sellers on most topics. Employees are we’ll read and will make recommendations to match your reading interests. The store is dog friendly, as is most of the town.

Clean, bright and well lit. It’s a small store, packed with NEW books. A very narrow side room had the sci-fi section, fiction, mysteries, etc. The main room had books more oriented toward youngsters. There is a small section of dog books. Nice browsing. They let us bring our dog in, and even gave her a cookie. Very nice of them, because the weather was hot that day. There’s a bench out front, and a cozy chair near the front for foot weary travelers.
