A Step Above Limousine Service

Fantastic, friendly, on time service from Ayman and Mo. Will definitely call them again when I’m at CLT.

I’ve been using A Step Above Limo for many years now, and despite the fact that I travel in mostly larger cities, Ayman’s company (Ayman is the owner) is by far the best limo /​car service company I have ever used!
He recognizes my number and remembers my name every time I call to make a reservation. EVERY single driver is top-​notch and the epitome of professionalism.
The prices for these services are surprisingly reasonable given the calibre of the fleet, cleanliness of the cars, and overall experience.
THERE IS NOT a better limo service in the Charlotte area!!!

I was in North Carolina visiting my brother in law and his family in Lake Norman. It was my newphew’s birthday, and we wanted to make his day special by having the family head to the restaurant in a limo. He loved it. Service was great and they even had the limo decorated inside.

I had to go to North Carolina a few months ago. A local friend took care of my transportation needs. I had no idea; She booked a limousine!!! The chauffeur opened to door, and there she was! She had surprised me hiding in the limo! She knew I was nervous about traveling and leaving my family. The driver was hospitable, and my friend lifted up my spirits in a sleek luxurious ride!

My daughter returned home from University in the UK recently after being out of the country for 8 months. The driver picked up the whole family at our house and drove us to the Charlotte Douglas airport to meet her. Her flight was delayed, but the driver waited patiently with us for her arrival. He held a welcome home sign and helped carry her luggage to the limo. We headed out to eat at her favorite restaurant and then the driver drove us back home. I was very impressed with how courteous and personable the driver was and the vehicle was immaculate. My daughter was beyond surprised!!!

We got a stretch Chrysler 300 limo for our anniversary.
We made the reservation kind of last minute because our other limo plans had fallen though (grrrr).
The driver called ahead to confirm the pickup address and arrived about 15 minutes early as he said he would.
We were happy that the car came on time, but the driver would not meet us at our door. Instead, we had to walk to a nearby parking lot to meet him. I was not so happy about that, but we brushed off any bad feelings at this point.
We did get good service being dropped off right at the front door of our next 2 stops which was very nice.
However, when leaving our final stop and calling the driver to pick us up, he said that we would have to walk 1 block (in a city I’m not very familiar with) to meet him because allegedly the traffic was too heavy. What? Here’s the thing… the traffic on the street was very light. Maybe 1 or 2 cars passing by every minute. Not a busy street at all. And even if it was, why couldn’t the driver circle the block until there was an opportunity to stop and pick us up? That’s what I expected and the pickup service was just not what I expected.
The car was very nice inside and we enjoyed the ride, but I am rating at only 3 stars because I was displeased with the driver’s mannerism and skill.

Paid for someone to meet me in the airport holding a sign with my name. Instead received a call to bring my things upstairs and meet them there. Then it was no, find me downstairs. I paid for the luxury of not going on a wild goose chase! Terrible service. When I called management, they hung up on me 2x. Ended up having to wait in a long line for a taxi. Don’t use this service.

All i wanted was a car service to take me to my hotel but when i got picked up it was a very clean and nice Cadillac Escalade and the guy driving was so nice and spoke when spoken too, also had some great ideas for fun and food so all in all i was happy. I wont be searching for a new car service in charlotte anytime soon.

DO NOT EVER USE THIS This «Car Service». I ordered a car to take my girlfriend from out of town to the airport in the morning. and they blatantly just did NOT SHOW. When this car was ordered, they seemed to be scatterbrained as well. After they called her once to say when they would be there, she called them again and … REPEATEDLY and they did not pick up their phone and then did not show AT ALL. When I learned of this, I called to get answers and I simply got an ‘I’m sorry. I will talk to my manager”. Upon DEMANDING that my my money was returned-​DONT WORRY I WAS CHARGED. He said «Oh of course of course»…cue crickets and then me saying «DO YOU EVEN WANT MY NAME OR THE NAME OF THE PERSON YOU WERE PICKING UP!!!» His response was he knew what he was talking about, WHICH THEREFORE means he was aware of said pickup that never happened. I did not get asked if there was any further service they could do to make up for the fact that they just didn’t DO THEIR JOB either. I suggest this business learn exactly the service it provides because I will make sure I, or anyone I know NEVER use this company. Bottom line, crappy awful terrible service (or lack-​thereof) and abominable and atrocious customer service.
