ABC Store of Mecklenburg County

As always such a nice staff when I come in here. It really doesn’t matter the day or the time everyone is very helpful and always asking me if i need help finding something.
I like how they have set up all of the things that are on sale that week on it’s own little side area in the corner of the store. Usually, if I don’t know what I want, I will head over there and see if there is something that peeks my interest to try out.
They have a great selection of items, and in a convenient location beside Goodwill and across from Harris Teeter. If you are looking for a suggestion, just ask! The staff is super knowledgeable, and if they don’t know they will find out.

I went to the Ballantyne Village ABC to pick up some Skinny Girl vodka & Domaine de Canton ginger liqueur but found that they have now moved to another location. Bummer!
The new location is just a little further out and in a small shopping center recently built on the corner of 521 and old Lancaster Hwy. The ABC store is nestled between the IHOP and the Goodwill store.
The store layout is pretty much typical of ABC stores in South Charlotte. It is nice & clean with wide aisles and has a pretty decent selection of spirits including various liqueurs, cordials, etc. Since the holidays are upon us, they have already stocked up on gift-​sets as well. They still don’t have quite as many of the speciality imported items that I can find at Southern Spirits or Stateline Beverages, but when I am just picking up ‘standard’ stuff, this place is a little more convenient to get to.
The 2 employees working the store when I arrived were friendly & helpful in pointing me in the right direction to find the items on my shopping list.
However, be warned that the parking lot kind of sucks here… it can especially be chaotic if you happen to go during prime-​time dining hours at IHOP.
