I hate hate hate pests! but I love love love this company for helping me save my home.

If you found Action Pest, look no further. I was absolutely horrified when I found bed bugs in our bedroom and spent hours researching to find the best company to handle the situation (8 in total in Charlotte). Action Pest offered a great price to do the heat treatment for our whole house (DON’T go with a company that only does a room or two, or doesn’t do the heat treatment). The price included the initial inspection, treatment, and followup K-​9 visit plus a 30 day guarantee. Everyone was friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and professional. I felt confident that our problem was in good hands from my very first phone call. They were able to schedule us as soon as possible and were with us every step of the way, providing guidance for the prep work and information on how to eliminate & prevent this from happening again. They were even able to come inspect the storage unit I rented to make sure we weren’t moving de-​contaminated items to another infested area (thank you!). Going through this has been absolutely awful, but this company put my mind at ease that it would be fixed and life would go back to normal. The problem has been 100% resolved with the one treatment and I couldn’t be happier with my experience and results. Plus Charlie, one of the K9s, is GREAT! I was shown an example of how he locates the bed bugs and was just amazed. I know if there is an issue within the 30 days or in the future that I can count on them. I don’t know a lot about exterminating companies, but I know good when I experience it.
I did check BBB first and came up with Action. I sent my online request for an appt through BBB & Action was quick to get in touch with me to set it up.
Joel came out & he was very personable & courteous as well as seeming to know what he was talking about. He asked about what pests I had seen and for any particular issues I had.
He explained what he was going to do, chemicals he uses (some from Chrysanthemums!), and he got to work.
He said he’d start inside first so he wouldn’t track dirt in. He went through everything and even got up in the attic! I told him I was impressed with that and he said most companies won’t do that but that’s usually where silverfish (& other buggies) hide to get away from those chemicals that kill & to picnic on your insulation & wood.
He got under the crawl space & went around the outside about a good 4 feet & even sprayed some stuff in the water main hole as well as dusting off my spider webs around the eaves.
I’m glad he sprayed the attic because *holy **** they started popping out of the eaves while we were outside. He was kind enough to pick a few up and show me the different kinds… German brown, wood roach, some others; strangely beautiful, but completely gross.
I called the company this morning & told them what a great job Joel did! He was out here a good 1.45 & it was $ 135. I felt like I got a great job done for a fair price. There also was no hard sell of a package or monthly visits. Just a polite mention of them & asked if I was interested. When I said no, he left it at that.
I will definitely use them again as needed and I highly recommend them.
They take cash or checks at the time of service or you can pay with your credit card by phoning the office.

I have been dealing with this company for many years, and they are the best! If you DON’T need a termite treatment they actually will TELL you that! And their rates for all services are very reasonable. They came out 2 weeks ago and removed a wasp nest from my window and sprayed for ants at NO charge! We had a lot of rain that week and the ants persisted. They came back again still at NO charge and this time ants are zapped! Kudos Action Pests!
