Sure, they sell car supplies in the big box stores but I had no idea which was the right polish to use to try and restore the shine to some of the plastic body trim panels on my jalopy. I needed some knowledgeable help and knowledgeable help is one thing that they’re very short on in the super stores that sell clothing and electronics too.
A short line and while I was waiting, the customer in front of me asked a question about where the cabin air filter goes. So instead of trying to explain it, the counter person puts on some gloves and they went out to go show him. I think that’s awesome.
When it came my time, the gal (yes, a gal behind the counter!) took me over to the aisle where the polishes are and showed me which ones were good and even told me which one she uses on her car. I’m sold!
Yes, they have everything else you might need for your vehicle, from oil and filters to brake pads and suchlike. Lots of stuff! As the radio commercial says, «Get your auto parts… in Advance.»
