This was my first visit to Advantage Vision Center and I was very pleased with office, staff and especially Dr. Newsome. She is very personable and great at what she does. The staff(Tempest(sp)in particular) were extremely helpful, especially when it came to helping me pick out frames. I have never worn prescription glasses before so it was all new to me. It was an overall great experience and I would definitely refer Advantage Vision Center to anyone that might be in need of their services.

The care here was great! I just finished my appointment and if you have vision issues, this is the place for you. Tthe staff was prompt in their intake and checking my information. I received numerous diagnostic tests that I have never received anywhere else. The technician explained every test and what it measured. The office atmosphere was great, no loud talking or raucous music. I felt like this office received a poor rap from previous reviewers. The physician is amaZing and very knowledgeable. If I had to say anything it would be please her wifi so that patients can evaluate you immediately and not use their data plan, lol! I was happy to use my data plan and tell YOU to come on down and spread the word. Finally, if you do not have insurance, their wellness exam is still reasonable at $ 59. I wish i read the reviews before going. this place is the worst customer service is horrible. i have to repeatedly ask for a call from the dr emailed and called no response. i was told to just come in and maybe the dr can speak to me in between patients. i was concerned because prescription for contacts is same power in each eye but the glasses does not. also took a month and half to get contacts they first said backlogged and then said they would order again. the staff ISRUDE and this place is so out dated with technology.

It should be zero stars. This place is terrible and everyone that works there seems completely incompetent. My contact lens fitting was completely wrong and caused migraines — I had to go to another doctor to correct it and they filed my insurance wrong, didn’t give proper notification of the balance and then when I called to try to correct it I was put on hold twice until I was disconnected and then continually re-routed to a voicemail box that was full. Absolutely horrendous experience.

The actual doctor is super sweet and seems great. Unfortunately the rest of the office is a mess. It’s pretty sketchy, took me two hours to do a pretty simple contact fitting and the assistant didn’t do the proper sanitation procedures on any of the equipment. They gave me some trial lenses and then said they would call about my contact order. That was two weeks ago. I tried calling them 6 different times and no one could answer any of my questions. I just wanted to get my contacts! This should be simple but it’s been very frustrating.
