A hidden gem in Charlotte with great educators, small classrooms and a close knit environment for kids. My son attended the TK(transitional kindergarten) program which is mostly 5 year olds with late birthdays that miss the CMS cutoff for kindergarten and he really loved it and learned so much within the school year. The classroom consisted of 12 – 15 students with a teacher and assistant with a very structured curriculum, uniform dress and chapel attendance mid week. The tuition is very affordable, if you don’t want to send a lunch daily they provide lunch for an additional fee. The school has TK-8th grade and is growing yearly. My only concern is the after school program which is not very structured and when dealing with 5 year olds structure is very important, so if you have smaller kids attending, I would advise finding an alternative for after school care.
