Camden Fairview

I must say, I’ve owed this property and Camdenliving/​Camden Property Trust a review for some time. I relocated from Los Angeles to Charlotte 9 months ago in April. I had a list of neighborhoods and apartment complexes to check out in-​between traveling back and forth from LA for three months. I had checked out a couple Camden properties, but on my last day and as I was running out of time to find a place to relocate to, I saw this complex at the very last minute. And I’m so glad I did! Camden Fairview felt immediately at home. Not only did I love the floor plans and prices, but I also liked the fact it was a smaller community and it is a great location. Celina signed me right up and while she was promoted to another Camden property, she still stays in touch with updates and the goings on at the complex. Colleen, the manager, is fantastic and their maintenance team, Tom & Bob are top notch. Whether I have a need with management or maintenance, I receive quick responses and feel as though I’m getting the white glove treatment — they are genuinely that nice and they take pride in their work. Additionally, they really do CARE and take time to get to know all the residents. They host special events throughout the year, have contests and on occasion I even come home to a treat on my door from the staff or even a simple note just to say ‘thank you’ for being a resident. This is also the longest lease I have ever signed in my life, yet I never had a hesitation once I saw my apartment. Another neat and unique feature here is that they have very affordable guest suites for visitors which I’ve already taken advantage of. Between the team, the property, the close knit community, I truly consider this my home. I love my home, I love Camden Fairview and their team!

When we were first checking out Camden Fairview the leasing agent showed us a beautiful model, so naturally I said «yeah this is great but I want to see the one we would be renting.» Turns out that was it & we moved in the next day. So here we are after renewing our initial lease and we continue to LOVE living here! Awesome office & maintenance staff that takes time to make sure you’re ok, gorgeous facilities, pet friendly, and overall quiet but social neighborhood.

Great place to live! I had to relocate very quickly from Texas and had never been to North Carolina, so since I had lived at a Camden complex before in another state, I knew Camden Fairview could be a solid choice for a new resident of Charlotte.
The staff are awesome. Super friendly, and they actually CARE and take the time to know their residents. They always greet me by name whenever I see them, which is impressive because let’s face it, I’m not great at remembering names.
Today I was super impressed by the complex. I had woken up to get ready for work, but I heard what I thought was my washing machine running. Turns out the supply line on the water heater broke off and was gushing out water through the wall into my dining and living rooms. As I rushed to get towels, I called the emergency line, and fortunately the maintenance staff is on site. He was over within minutes and shut off the water since I couldn’t immediately find the valve. There was about an inch of water everywhere, so while he worked on fixing the water heater, I tried cleaning up as much water as possible. I had about 30 sopping wet towels by the end of clean up, so he came back by and said they were going to wash and dry them for me. Honestly I didn’t mind washing them myself, but why not take him up on the offer? A couple hours later, another maintenance man stopped by with the FIRST load, all nicely folded, and promised to be back with the last one an hour later. Colleen stopped by with Tom a little while later to make sure we were okay and offered to put us up in the guest rooms for the night since there is a huge dehumidifier and fan in the living room, which are pretty loud. The fans don’t really bother me, so I assured them it wasn’t necessary to sleep elsewhere for a night.
All in all, pretty impressed with how efficiently the team worked and in what is normally a stressful situation, they kept calm and made sure everyone was taken care of :) Thank you!
