This is definitely not the nicest gas station in the Charlotte Metro. It may not even be the nicest in Detroit (if it were somehow to move there). But it just happens to be on the path that I take many days, which means that it is convenient, and that trumps nice most days.
The problem is that while it is easy enough to get into the place, and pumping gas is not difficult, it can be a bear to get out. With a bit of luck, you can turn left onto either Wilson Grove or Lawyers — but when the lights are against you, you are stuck. Sometimes for a while.
If that is the case, you might as well pull around into the Arby’s and have a snack, because it could be a while before you get out. Even then, you may want to make a large loop around the block to get home again.
