Yeah, Dan, is a good man. But the phone is disconnected so I assume he has moved on. Geo

I have tried to locate Dan’s for the past 2 days, via both phone AND going to this address. He must be closed, as there is no connect on the phone & the address is EMPTY both days. I’m bummed, but sharing what I know.

Found Dan thru Costco, and very glad I did. He immediately assessed the repair I needed(frame-less glasses that were bent when accidentally sat on that no other place would attempt to fix), and had them back in brand new condition in 15 min. for a VERY reasonable price. I would not hesitate to go back to Dan for any sort of eyeglass repair. He is the kind of guy who is the experienced pro you want to get the job done right the first time and not gouge you.

I have to agree with Zion B. and give a shout out to Dan’s Eyeglass Repair. When one of the arms popped off my expensive eyeglass frames a couple of years ago, I visited Sally at Sally’s Optical Secrets, fully expecting I would have to shell out hundreds of bucks for some new frames. To Sally’s credit(and a shout out to her, too! No wonder several of my family members are loyal customers), she suggested Dan. His shop, hidden away in what once was a strip mall with access to Independence Boulevard, was one of the more obscure businesses I’ve ever accessed in town, but well worth searching out. His shop was a throwback to other craftsmen’s studios I’ve visited(I’m thinking about Jack Leonard’s watch repair shop in Winston-Salem here). And his service charges were rock bottom. For a measly fifteen bucks I got at least two more years worth of wear from my designer specs. In fact, my vision will probably deteriorate before my glasses do. Dan’s a keeper!

In the times of commercial eyeglass chains that pop up in malls and treat the public like cattle, Dan is truly a rare gem and at the top of his craft. He is very professional, patient and takes very good care of your eyeglasses as if they were his own. I am glad I found him and will be referring him to all of my friends. His prices for repairs are reasonable and fair. By the way, his hours are only from 11am-6pm on Mon, Tues, Thurs & Fri and he is closed on Wednesdays.
