I’m a novice at golf. I picked the game up a couple years ago and unfortunately don’t get to focus a lot of time improving my abilities. That being said, all my gear is less than spectacular — everything from my shoes to my clubs. I went into Edwin Watts with high hopes that I might be greeted with professional service that could ease my anxiety about making any purchasing decisions given my lack of knowledge. What I found was a non attentive staff who seemed to find it difficult to say«hello» when I was looking for much more than just common courtesy. Here I was, a shopper willing to spend big bucks on «new everything» if someone would have told me it would have improved my game, and I couldn’t get a «hello». I wish I could have taken a picture of the four store clerks standing around with their arms folded doing nothing as I walked out. Hope like crazy this isn’t the norm.
