This gap store is conveniently located for me so I decided to stop in the other day to see if I could find some new jeans or khakis. Unfortunately, the shopping trip was a bust as I didn’t find a pair of pants or jeans that I wanted. However, the employees were helpful and friendly and overall selection was not bad. They had a pretty big selection of sale items including pants/jeans, shirts, sweaters, etc. Also, l did spy a nice jacket on my way out the door, so I may be stopping in again soon to try that on.

Reviewing the Gap? Am I serious? Yes sir, I am. Granted, the Gap sells pretty generic preppy clothes, variations on the same design throughout the store. But this store stands apart from those Gaps in the Charlotte area malls for its selection and prices. I normally stake out the clearance section and I must have hit the jackpot cuz I bought a blazer for $ 20 on my last visit! The store itself is larger than the Carolina Place store or the South Park location, which is a plus. The clearance section was larger and not«picked over» like the other stores. Beside the even bigger and cheaper outlet at Concord Mills, this is your best bet for affordable, predictably stylish-but-not-cutting-edge threads in town. You don’t have to wait for a once-in-a-blue-moon-sale like similar retailers or dig through mountains of crap-tastic clothes at the overstock stores(TJ Maxx, Ross). This Gap is on the money.
