Godiva Chocolatier

I pre-​ordered 6 chocolate covered strawberries to pick up on valentines day. After standing in a long line I finally made it to the counter to find out they never made my order, so I didn’t get my white chocolate (which is my favorite) because they ran out, and had to wait for them to make another box. This is the last time I will shop here! Unreliable!

What’s not to like? My family and I have been coming to SouthPark mall for years and how do we treat ourselves? By stopping into Godiva to make our trip to Charlotte complete. My daughters always get the strawberry banana kabobs drizzled in chocolate. My favorite is the chocolate dipped apricots. Must try!

I think it is a bit unfair for this Godiva to only have 3 stars. I think there is nothing wrong with this location, in fact, I have been going to this location for the past 10 years. This place has friendly staff, free samples once in a while, very clean and the chocolate are rich, tasty and masterly decorated. There are other high end stores as well and we do not rate it lowly just because it is expensive. I think we should. Take into consideration of what type of occasion and customers the store caters to and see if it suits to those criteria well. For having said that, if you just want to give someone a fine box of chocolate, it does that very well. Godiva can carry just as much meaning as a luxurious card that is well made, an exquisite bouquet of flower, or maybe even a nice piece of jewelry.

Get some freebies if you get the loyalty card. The chocolate is good but is it really worth it? I leave it up to you to decide.
