Heng’s Alterations

Awesome service! They are both so friendly and helpful! They are decent price and worth every penny. I have gotten several things from here altered and they did a good job on each and every one of them!

When you walk in you are greeted by a very friendly lady. She even has a bit of sarcasm with you and jokes around sometimes. She will take your garment and investigate it. My pants were coming a part at the seam, but not ripped, just loose thread. She looked at them and also looked for future problems around the same seam. She pointed it out and let me know it could become a problem in the future so she would reinforce it. Very reasonable pricing and she gave me a date. I came back to pick up my garment and it was very clean work. I was very happy with my experience. My only issue was the smell of the place when you walk in. Smelled like dirty clothes.

Used them for three years… have hemmed MANY pairs of pants and other items… perfect every time.

Great alteration place! I take my pants here for hemming. They usually have them ready in less than a week. The prices are great, and the owners are nice. They don’t take credit cards, so come with cash or a check.

I had just received a new uniform shirt via FedEx last Thursday 1÷31÷13. I had to have some patches added to it as well as epaulets & a badge holder. I thought about driving up to Carolina Pavilion but happened to be passing Carmel Commons. I spotted Hengs and decided to go there instead. I had met the owners last year while I had been stationed at the shopping center & they were very personable people. The store had been full of people eager to have them work on their clothing. That’s the best recommendation that I know.
Anyhow I brought the shirt in on Saturday afternoon 2÷2÷13, explained what I wanted done & asked to pick it up on Monday. I have to say that everything looked like it had been added at the factory. The price was very reasonable as well. Will I return to Carolina Pavilion, probably not. I think that Hengs will be my go to store for clothing repairs.

Its hard to find a good place that you can rely on to get alterations. However, you can trust to have a great job done at Heng’s. I know people that use them for jacket, shirt and pants alterations and have nothing but good things to say. I recently went to Heng’s to alter a bridesmaid dress. Not only was the dress done in 5 days, they did a fantastic job & it only cost me $ 28 days. Heng’s is located in the Fresh Market plaza on Rte 51 around the corner next to Baskin Robbins. Its kinda a far drive from where I live, but well worth it for expert alterations.
