My husband and I decided to look here for a new love seat as we had family coming in for a visit. We came in on a Monday, ended up finding something we really liked and bought it. The manager there was new and said for his first week there he wanted to give us a discount on the furniture protection warranty which was very nice. By the time all was said and done with delivery fee and tax we spent over $ 1200 on the love seat. We were guaranteed delivery by Thursday which was very important to us since we had family coming in. (I am 9 months pregnant and due any day now). We were told that we would get a phone call on Wednesday to verify delivery time… Well by 5 on Wednesday we hadn’t heard anything so I decided to call. The woman I spoke with said that the order wasn’t showing on her computer and that she wasn’t sure when we would be able to get the couch. She was not helpful or concerned at all and offered no apology. I asked her to transfer me to a manager which she did, I spoke with him and he had no explanation for why the order never went through. I asked him if he knew when the couch would be available to which he replied that he didn’t know. I asked for a refund… They went from having lifetime customers to very disappointed customers. We will not be back.

I went on a Thursday evening. There weren’t many customers in the store and upon entering I was warmly greeted and asked if I needed help. I asked for the appliance section and told them what I was looking for. I was handed off to the person in that section. Gave them my price range and got a very nice chest freezer «on sale»! It was a day before the sale went off and cheaper than what I had budgeted for. No hasseling. No one trying to get me to buy something more expensive. They went out, measured my car’s trunk space and within minutes I was on my way. They also said if I didn’t want the warranty I had 30 days to get it. Most places make you get it right away. I appreciate the fact that they gave me options. I’ll definitely return.

HH Gregg is located near Northlake Mall. When our washing machine gave out, we made a late evening trip to this locaiton looking for a deal. After our initial distraction from televisions galore, we focused on the task at hand. We were able to get a great deal on a much newer washing machine that fit what we were looking for. Service was efficient but not pushy. We left and the new washer was delivered the very next morning before 11 AM. However, one of the hoses was missing, as was the manual. A phone call to the store ensured it was available. Rather than wait for another delivery, the items were picked up at the store, installed, and we were up and running the same day. Had it not been for the missing hose, HH Gregg would be given 5 stars!
