I had a millipede infestation outside my house and inside the front and back doors. A coworker recommended Killo, so I called them up. The woman who answered the phone was very friendly and helpful; I wasn’t sure exactly what kind of bug I had, so she asked me to send a picture and identified it immediately. They were able to come out the following day, and came right in the middle of the 8:00 — 9:00 timeframe we’d agreed upon. The technician was very professional and answered all my questions. He sprayed everywhere downstairs and around the outside of my townhouse, and the charge was $ 100. So far, I’ve only seen one or two millipedes where I was seeing 40 – 50 beforehand, so I’m very pleased. I started to pay with a credit card, and the tech said he would have to call the office to get approval and run my card, so I paid with a check since it was easier.

Another home, another need for pest control, and another round with Killo. This time they came out and took a look at things, and we even decided that we would go with them. The reason being was because the house was already under contract with them. That makes it cheaper. The problem we ran into is that we agreed to have them treat the garage. The price wasn’t bad, and if you agree to the treatment, they give you a discount on the inspection(supposedly it is free, but it looks like they may tack the price onto the treatment). We agreed on your standard time frame appointment(8:00−8:30) for the treatment. Unfortunately, Killo couldn’t seem to keep it. In the afternoon, I might get it. Things happen, appointments slip. But in the morning, at 8am? That’s a bit insane. Not to mention that I had to be at a funeral, and I had to get to the other house to change clothes. So at 8:15, when they weren’t here, I called the office to see where they were. They didn’t know(that is, the office didn’t know where the technician was). They couldn’t find him. I told them that I had to leave by 8:30. I would happily let him in, but the garage was locked and if he wasn’t here, it wasn’t going to happen. By 8:30, no word. Apparently as I made it to the other house at 9:00, my wife told me that the technician had just called to ask where I was and why the garage was locked. Lame. Not only can they not make it, but they cannot even communicate between the office and the field, and their communication just blows. I think I’m going to give up on Killo.
