Kim Nails Spa and Salon

Really pleased with the way they did my nails. She fixed and shaped my nails how I originally wanted it and had very nice customer service. I will be returning back to this salon.

I started going to this salon after my husband gave me the deluxe package as a gift. When they first opened years ago they were so clean and sanitary. Now that they’ve increased in customer base they have lost ALL sanitary practices. See my picture at how the Dr said a wort acquired came from unsanitary practices at the nail salon. I will not return!!! Plus every time I come in they «assume» I want the deluxe and try to charge me for it without asking.

I just recently relocated to Charlotte, for my internship in Uptown. I attend school in DC and get my nails done at one of the nicest salons in the area. So, I needed a place that could level up to the service I am use to. I found this place when I went to BWW and decided to try it out, after heavy convincing from my friend. I came in and requested a pedicure, fill, polish change and eyebrows; this was around 3pm and there were only 2 other women in the salon. After, soaking my feet in water for nearly 45 mins, a woman came over and started my pedicure. After she finished around 4:30pm…she sat me under a dryer. Service had picked up a little by then and I was left sitting in the dryer chair. Around 5pm, I asked is anyone going to do my nails or eyebrows and one woman said to me «Oh, I didn’t know!» She then proceeded to complete my eyebrows (which she did a wonderful job on) then directed me to her station to start my nails. Now, I get my nails done every two weeks and get a new set after the 3^rd fill. She told me I had «ring-​something» in my nails and that I needed a new set. No problem, right? I asked her for a full set, she told me «No, I can’t, you see we have other customers.» I was furious! I had been in this place for over 2 hours and had only managed to get a mediocre pedicure and my eyebrows done. She then had an attitude and was shoving my hands around and pinching my cuticles! She was in such a rush to just get me out of her chair; she didn’t even cover my nail in full polish!!! I will NEVER go here again!

Let’s just say, I just got the worst manicure I’ve ever had in my life. I don’t care if you want to be on the phone the entire time you are doing my nails, but u better be able to multitask. Didn’t get my nails clean, didn’t file them even. Didn’t clean them after polish. It took a total of 10 minutes. WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN.

Got a pedicure and full gel set french manicure at this spa. The ladies there were very friendly and very good. I was able to get both things done in a little over an hour which I believe is fairly speedy based on experiences elsewhere. I am new to the Charlotte area but as for prices, they were about average. I will be going back to them.
