Kim School of Tae Kwon Do

I trained with Master Kim and Master Jenny for years. Very amazing experience. If you are looking for AUTHENTIC Tae Kwon Do, then this is the school for you.
They focus on discipline and tradition. If you are looking for fly by night, MMA cage fighting techniques, this is probably not the school for you.

Great place. Great instructors. My kids have been going here for over 2 years. At 1^st it was only a few students under The age of 13 or so. But now, the classes have grown and its a very diverse group ranging from 3yrs to older ages (age friendly post… LOL)

When I moved to Charlotte, I had practiced Taekwondo for a few years at a dojang in Jersey City. I’d hoped to find a new school in Charlotte to become my Taekwondo home, and Kim’s came close. I decided not to enroll as a student, but I checked out a few classes there before making my decision.
The students at Kim’s are all well-​trained and have beautiful technique. It’s an impressive school in regards for their respect for the martial art and its long tradition. One of the things that attracted me to Taekwondo, however, is its modern adaptability and practical application in a fighting situation.
If you are looking for a place to learn beautiful technique and a classical appreciation for Taekwondo, Kim’s is a rare and wonderful place for you. If you’d like to learn to fight on the streets, though, look elsewhere.
