Food hot and tasty, service prompt and attentive… the only thing that keeps this from being a four-​star rating is Lansing prices at a hometown watering hole. Oops! Love the PJs, but not enough to pay that much. :(

By far the best burgers you will find anywhere close to town. The PJ’s are incredible and honestly ive never been disappointed with anything I have tried here. Always hit the lunch or dinner times and never have service issues. Definitely worth a stop in!

I am conflicted and because of this can only give three stars… First let me say, the food is GREAT! Try the PJ’s just once with the spicy/​hot cheese and you will be hooked! Burgers are delicious and fresh with really tasty fries! (They just really need a good ranch dressing.) The prices are very reasonable, too. The problem comes with the service. With the exception of Rachel (who has always gone out of her way for us), the service is slow and inefficient at best… Your order may or may not be correct the first time and if you come in (at appropriate hours) with kids, they treat you like a pariah! It is a crying shame, because they have a kids menu and everything… Perhaps they realize you probably will not be consuming massive quantities of alcohol with the littles in tow? We have tried on four separate occasions with the kids, but only once, when we had Rachel, was it a decent experience. We would love to come in more frequently, but when we have the kids with us (which is pretty much ALWAYS), it is now a NO.

I’m from out of town but my brother in-​law lives here. We walked in and and it was the perfect hometown sports bar. Rachel was our waitress and she was great! There was 4 of us and we got the following burgers: brother in-​law A-​1 burger AWESOME! Sister in-​law got the red wing burger AWESOME! My wife got the olive burger AWESOME! I got the rise n shine burger AWESOME! Beer prices were great! They’ve got a kids menu but we didn’t bring them cause it was parents night out! If you’re in Charlotte this is the place to go for a beer and a good burger!

Mike’s is a great spot to meet friends or family for a few beers and cheap food. If you haven’t been here before, you have to have try PJ’s! Most people have them with cheese but I’ve had them with peanut butter — delicious! Drinks are good and cheap, service could always be better (faster and more attentive). ALSO — Great place on Taco Tuesdays! $ 1 chicken or beef :)

Went here on a Thursday around midnight, as I walked in they very rudely informed me that last call had been made. OK I thought F-​U to. I turned around and walked down the street to the Eaton Pub And Grille and was welcomed at the door for an ID check and spent the next 2 hrs (and about $ 50) there and then walked home. Do your self a favor and skip Mikes and just head to the pub like I did.

The burgers here are hand-​made and delicious. The fries are really good as well. You can’t come to Mike’s without trying the PJ’s…simply deep fried goodness! The wait staff was a bit slow tonight with beverages. This isn’t usually the case but did not get a refill until after dinner was finished. Good hole-​in-​the wall bar to eat. Cheap prices. ($ 5 for a burger!)

I’ve got a great hamburger and good beer for a decent price here a few times. Nice small town atmosphere. Not a bad place to go to have a beer, some bar food, watch the game and play Keno if you want. Something to do on a Friday or Sat night.
