Motel 6

Roaches every damn where. People at the front desk don’t give two rats behinds about it. Currently trying to get refund to go back to Motel 6 on South Tryon. At least there it’s brand new. Update 2÷15÷16. They will not let me switch rooms. This is the most disgusting filthiest place ever. Wont give me a refund either. Be prepared to bring your own roach spray, and leave with roaches. I beg you find somewhere else. I suggest Motel 6 on S. Tryon. Brand new everything. Update 10:56 pm one of the maintenance men barged in on me and my kids sleeping. THIS PLACE IS NOT SAFE!!! That is 100% unprofessional. Im getting my money back and notifying the BBB.

Never again. The American standard reduced to no standard at all.

Dirty walls, sheets, tub, sink, tv. Nasty nasty nasty. Was asked if I wanted drugs twice. Thugs and all there friends stay there.

Shockingly, this place did look like the picture, just a little bit dirtier and with some cigarette burns in the comforter. It wasn’t nice, per say, but it was a cheap, decent place to stay. Many people seem to live here, so if you’re ok with seeing your «neighbor» spank their kid on the shared balcony, then you’ll be fine. My biggest complaint is the number of knocks we got on our door because there are no do not disturb signs. We were checking out late and had cleaning staff wake us up several times, as well as another staff member come to ask us when we were leaving! Also, the towels are the size of a bath mat and there is no soap or shampoo. But there’s a fridge and tv!

Room had roaches! I will never come back here again! I literally wanted to jump out of my skin when I saw this!

This motel is Cheap, Cheerful, and in Charlotte. You really don’t need much more for the price. The building looks like it was previously a Red Roof Inn, and one side of the room is painted orange and the linoleum is woodgrain. I would give this a 3 star except there was paint chipping off in the bathtub.

When booking this Motel we had only planned on staying here for one day, but we ended up stay here for another day before we left town because we were impressed. When we got to the deck to check in after having made our reservations, they couldn’t find our paperwork, but they still gave us the room for the price we had reserved it for, which I was glad about. Right when we walked in you could tell that it had recently been cleaned because you could smell the cleaner and it honestly just looked clean. I really liked the more modern updates that this hotel had, one being the wood like floors that all the rooms seemed to have had. I also liked how close it was to convenience stores as well as places to dine out at. I would stay here again!

BEDBUGS! Room looked clean enough, although it was very run-​down. But two days later I was COVERED in bed bug bites! Would never stay there again!

We came here because we saw that good things in reviews written online. The hotel had been recently remodeled, and it was a little bit outside of Charlotte which we thought would save us from the rough communities.
When we booked the place, we turned a blind eye to what appeared to be drug dealing activity close to the gas station that is located on Red Roof drive close to the hotel. The hotel was nestled in a quiet are with other hotels that didn’t seem too bad either.
Upon entering the room, the first thing I saw was visibly stained sheets, and bedding, cigarette burns on the duvet, and an atrocious bathroom that appeared to be rotting away from mold and mildew.
the hotel staff was very friendly, and we were ffered a new room, but we chose to checkout to prevent further issues. The room was refunded and we were given written confirmation of the refund.
