New Beginnings Moving And Storage

I had an amazing experience with this company. I had to get someone moved that day, and they were able to accommodate me on short notice. They were friendly and knowledgable – worth far more than they charge!

I had such an amazing experience with New Beginnings! Their team of two got things done quickly and efficiently despite of this yucky weather we were having here in Charlotte. They laid down some moving blankets to keep from tracking the apartment with wetness and leaves. The two of them were super careful, there was a little scratch on the wall, but hey, it happens. The price was great and they fit me in on such short notice. I seriously recommend New Beginnings!

We used New Beginnings for our move from Hickory to Charlotte earlier this year. The men that came to pack up and move our belongings get a ⁵⁄₅ star. Unfortunately, Michael Blair, the owner, knocked it down to a 1 star because of his horrible service. He was incompetent, inconsiderate, and unprofessional. After the men had completed the job (even adding an extra stop to our storage unit at no charge), we had to wait around in the parking lot for an hour trying to pay Michael. The movers, as well as my fiancé and I, called multiple times telling him we were ready to process our credit card. After many excuses, no apology, and an hour later, it was finally processed. I have never had to work so hard to GIVE my money to somebody. To add insult to injury, he charged an extra $ 100 for no reason, so we then had to deal with calling back and getting that charge reversed. We warn everyone we can to stay away from this company.
Again, the guys were truly great, but Michael ruined the entire experience.

We used them when we first came to the area and they prices were more than fair. The moving men were polite and professional and they even had an extra guy. When I called to move us again the man, who may have been the owner way over quoted me from our previous move that was less than four months ago. When I pointed that out he became rude and then hung up on me before I finished talking. The only difference is that my husband set up the first move. Hopefully that was just a coincidence and not indicative of how they treat female clients. I’m giving two stars because our first move was fine.

We moved from out of state and we used New Beginnings to unload our truck. We were extremely happy with this company, the quality of service and the price. The guys were really nice and very helpful. They took good care of our belongings and were very efficient. We would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

This was our second time using New Beginnings. Both moves were local, inside the city limits. We were extremely pleased with the quality of service and the price. The movers themselves were extremely helpful, very kind, and efficient. Highly recommended.

I had a great experience with this company. I had been planning a move from Columbus, OH to Charlotte, NC as I was transferring with my job. I originally had one moving company in Columbus, OH set up but I had to move the date back and they could not accommodate my new move date. New Beginnings was able to do a last minute move for me at a great price. They even came shortly after the winter storm they had. They were careful with my belongings and very professional. They delivered my furniture the next day and I was very satisfied with the whole process, I’m not sure what I would have done without them! I would definitely recommend this company to anyone moving in this area.
