Ordered a Carmel latte and avocado toast. Latte was perfect. Avocado toast was very small for $ 6. One slice of bread, but delicious. Wish it was $ 4 or had more things on it.

Ok first impressions: I was a little confused that this building was inside a small market area, so when I was driving I was slightly confused. Never the less I found it and was able to avoid parking in the parking garage& just put coins in the meter on the street.(By the way the city is SOCLEAN& has trees and flowers everywhere!!) i was happy to get out of my car and walk up the block! So I sat and ordered the Carmel Iced Latte; it was the bomb! So fresh& absolutely delish!!! I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great coffee! The atmosphere was a little busy for my liking, like I said before, it’s inside a market place. There was a few small eating areas and tables& a farmers market inside too! I could tell that it’s a place that many people enjoy! Totally a family place!

Easily the best coffee in Charlotte! I love their cold brew, full of flavor and not watered down like some places. The Nitro Brew is also very delicious. The in-house made vanilla and caramel for lattes is stupendous. I love the friendly staff, the décor, and when their is seating available in the Market it is a nice place to enjoy the delicious coffee and espresso beverages.

Great coffee! Only started drinking coffee 3 years ago and already a coffee snob. Love traveling to new places and finding local roasters. This fit he bill! Bought a bag to go for our trip this week. I had the pour over iced, which is not always an option, but perfect for a 90 degree day! Had the Guatemala! 5 baristas working so wait was not long! Great find!

Not Just Coffee does coffee right. My regular go to is a latte and you just can’t beat it. I appreciate the time and effort they put into every beverage they make. Their handmade caramel and chocolate makes their espresso drinks fantastic. And the pour overs are always made to perfection. Wouldn’t go anywhere else for my morning caffeine fix. It’s situated in a cool market area so you can grab a sandwich or pizza while you’re there.

Good coffee. Great location in the market. Made the mistake of coming at lunch… yikes it was crazy. The coffee was good and enjoyed the visit.

Great place to get a cup of coffee. Good coffee, friendly staff, convenient location. And they got good choice of teas that don’t come from a tea bag. I usually go there to work and it’s always cool to just sit back and watch baristas prepare drinks and chat with the customers.

Having moved to Charlotte several months ago from Minneapolis, where I had access to fantastic coffee shops and one of the best roasters around, I found it a challenge to find good coffee here. With diligence, I read reviews of the«coffee shops» here, and went on tasting excursions, and finally started to find decent roasters and a few good coffee shops. In my search for that«place to go» coffee shop, I came across rave reviews of Not Just Coffee. I believe one of the baristas had placed high in several competitions. Cool, just what I’m looking for. So one day on my way to work, I decided to stop by the 7th St. Market and see what the fuss was all about. I got to the Market a few minutes after 7AM, right after it opens. I went to the NJC counter, where there was no one else waiting, and ordered my small cappuccino. One of the workers did the transition while the other one was prepping the espresso machine. After about 10 minutes and no cappa, I asked what the delay was, and I was told that the machine had to be primed, etc. I have had my own prosumer espresso machines, so I totally understood what he was doing. However, after another few minutes, I finally asked the barista if they in fact opened at 7AM. He replied yes. I then replied in a snarky tone if they then shouldn’t do all this machine prepping BEFORE they opened so that customers who are on their way to work don’t have to wait 20 minutes — again with no one else in front of me — to get what should take five minutes at the most. Perhaps they took my comment to heart, but to me, I felt they couldn’t care less. The cappa was fine, but definitely not worth that wait.

Pretty good. Had their midsummer special when I visited, the glass came in looks neat, the flavors was all there as mentioned. I don’t really know what else to say as it’s a stall in the common markets, and I didn’t really spend enough time sitting at the stall to really get comfortable.

This place is awesome. We go every Sunday. I always get a hot ocha for there, and an iced mocha to go :)

Cortad, and two espresso of different kinds. They do great work here and are the real deal. They get this Seattlite’s stamp of critical approval.

This was my first trip to this place and their presentation is beautiful and their latte was good, but it took forever! Also their regular coffee was very acidic and pretty over priced.

Damn great tea, variety of chais’ and loose leaf teas are available and they have this flavoring called vanilla sugar, oh my goodness soon yummy. I come to the market just for the tea and juice joint across the way. Great value, located in the middle of the marketplace next to the Viva Raw, very nice staff and I have to say again, the tea gives Starbucks a run for their money. Only grip, they need a real large size drink. I never want it to end. Heads up: they call your name for the drink, stay in the area, but keep in mind the barista line is normally pretty long so it’s not going to come out right away.

pros: good tasting coffee cons: reaaallly long wait I got the vanilla sugar latte and the latte art was on point but I really couldn’t taste the difference from that and a Starbucks vanilla latte even though I tried really hard to. It’s still good(that is, if you’re into really sugary coffee). Very hip place to hang out though. I wouldn’t recommend getting it to go just because I had to wait like 5++ minutes. This is probably a 5 star establishment — I will be back to try more things on the menu!

Inside the 7th Street Public Market you’ll find this gem. On any day I’ve been in the market, this stand has had a steady business. They have coffee drinks, lots of teas, cold brew coffee on Nitro and even Kombucha. There is seating around the bar as well or you can take your drink to go, sit outside or even roam the market. Great local business to support and the staff is great. Much better than Starbucks!

Just stopped here Sunday morning for some coffee. The ice caramel latte was perfect and the service was friendly.(more friendly than the first two times I went, which I’m glad is improving!) The line was very long but it didn’t take much time to get through it. The only bummer is how people crowd around where drinks come out and make it hard to get to yours but that’s what happened when there’s a small space and it’s pretty popular. Over all I would recommend it to anyone, espresso drinks are great and there jasmin tea was delicious too, just be prepared to wait if it’s a weekend day.

Talk about getting your coffee fix this is definitely the place to go. Forget the coffee chains like Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks. No comparison to Not Just Coffee. It’s like a coffee house right in the center of the public market. Chairs all around and so much fun to watch how they make each customers coffee. This place is hopping and busy that’s for sure. It is one smooth cool operation here. Talk about efficiency. The coffee is definitely, gourmet and strong too, We each had two different cups of coffee. The Cappuccino with the pretty artwork on the frothy foam. Was inquiring if they made Vietnamese Coffee like the ones with condensed sweetened milk. The mentioned getting a Cortado which it came in a shot glass. That expresso shot kept me up for most of the night. Will definite be back to get my next coffee fix.

I came here twice in my 4 day visit to Charlotte, and I was not disappointed! This is a great location in the 7th St Public Market because you can try the other food joints here while enjoying your coffee. The first time I got a regular drip coffee. They brew Counter Culture here! YESS one of my faves. The second time I got a latte. Perfect milk: espresso ratio. It was so creamy and delightful and each sip just got better and better. They only have one size, and its either hot or cold. Good variety of teas, and they have a few specialty lattes/drinks to choose from. Very simple and to the point! They get pretty busy, so you may have to wait a bit for your drink. Hip. Simple. Delicious.

I always trek out of my way for coffee here. I keep it simple by typically just ordering an iced latte to go, but it’s a damn good latte and worth going out of the way for. I love the location and all of the cool, small businesses in the surrounding market. In the short time it takes for my order to be ready, I’m always dipping my toe in and out of the little corners of the market. There’s so much to take in and your senses will be absolutely delighted. Plus, drinking my coffee here just makes me feel cooler. It’s like, you get insta cool kid points by just ordering here. I know that’s lame, but that’s why I need their help. Until next time…

Loved this place! I really wanted to come here after reading all the great reviews and I was not disappointed. 1. The vanilla sugar latte is to die for. Please try it! The latte art is neat too. 2. Come when it isn’t breakfast/lunch time and it won’t take as long for your drinks to come out. I know some people were mentioning the long wait time. Mine came out right after I ordered it. 3. You don’t have to sit at the counter. You can bring your coffee to any of the tables in the market. I love that it’s located in there. 4. Worried about parking? You don’t have to worry about getting your coffee and leaving because they will validate your ticket.(Near the stand that sells soaps– just insert your ticket and when the button turns red, then it has been validated). 5. Want it to-go? They have to-go cups and they still do latte art on that. Can’t wait to come back! I’m angry at myself for not knowing about 7th Street Market earlier!
